Hi Chris, plug the machine into a different socket to check the power, if still not working was the machine on when it stopped and what was it doing?

Thanks, tried the sequenced on/ buzzer cancel button pushing with programme on delicates, nothing fires up :( Even had the back off to see if a thermal cut out had tripped but all seems okay. Are control panels easy to fit? I assume it's just a take out and replace job, putting connections in the same way. Off to look on your site now. :)

Some elements get down to earth after they have been heated, this is half the story tell people all

Hi tapiwa gumbie, thank you for your comment, most elements that go down to earth and blow the fuse or trip the electrics would normally not heat up before blowing as the fault within the element is causing it to short.

My tumble dryer interior light comes on but all the front lights on the control panel are dead. Does that sound like a control board issue?

watched all the vids but none seem to cover my issue, it keeps cutting out after a few mins, sometimes only seconds you have to keep restarting it, its a Beko condenser if anyone has any ideas

Hi Darren, this could be due to the machine recognising its not heating or if the water is not being emptied into the container. Check these areas to see if you can identify a problem.

might be worth renewing the over-temperature sensor.

+Sardar Qadir If the problem is intermittent then it is likely to be the door lock replace the lock to confirm.

I'm trying to figure out why my hoover vch680f keeps blowing it's heater element (I am about to replace it for the third time in the last 18 months) Can't find a fault, no unreasonable fluff buildup (as far as I can see), could it be the control board? Thanks. P.s. really appreciate your vids, have bought from you several times while fixing my stuff!

Thanks for the comments Benjamin. There could be several possible reasons but the first obvious one is are you using a 'genuine' Hoover element?. Next if a lot of limescale builds up this can cause excessive heat inside the element and cause failure. The final reason can be if the element came on when the tub was empty of water again it could overheat, (possible but less likely).
