@@HOWTODIYwithEddy it took a hour as I didn't want to rush had to scrape old silicone off but all in your video helped me through the process. Although the E8 hex was too small I had to use E10. But glad I watched your videos a few times. Thank you

@@HOWTODIYwithEddy my local garage quoted me £160 but £12 from europarts and your video saved me so top man to you

@@AviationTwid I am glad you did your self and saved quite a bit, i believe its a bit expensive the quote given to you, but whatever the price a garage has overheads to pay, so they will be always more expensive than you buying the parts and do it yourself. Some jobs are more specialised than others but this one is quite simple and easy to do.

@@HOWTODIYwithEddy yes as I say the coolant system is fine it's just the unsightly cream that could put a a buyer off my plan is to take the rocker cover off and clean the crap out many thanks for the reply Eddy nice one.

Thank you, don't suppose you would know why the throttle body would be leaking liquid?

Hi pal I have put the gasket on with no sealant but is leaking do you need sealant
@HOWTODIYwithEddy
2 жыл бұрын
you need to see if the rocker cover is broken, you don't need sealant, also make sure the torque is right
