With the rocking on the head you can also have the hands near the head to support you as you move back and forth. So happy you can put it into your sessions. 😊 so much love and thank you for watching it! ♥

The problem with me when I'm trying is , I'm overdoing it ! When I try to stay in the first stage it's not happening as I'm rolling over , so I'm falling down every single time ! I can barely sleep because of this ! The headstand has gotten in to my mind and I want to get it done ! I think it's the restlessness which is abstaining me from achieving it ! Do you have any tips for not overdoing it ?
@Consciousbreathyoga

Hello, Aw thank you for your message. I would suggest being more gentle with yourself. It doesn't matter if we do the pose today tomorrow or next year. It is just the journey we take that matters. Where you are in practice right now is really where you are meant to be, and when the body is ready, it will take you there. So maybe don't have so much pressure on yourself. Some times we get in our way mentally, and that can stop us doing many things. So when practising experience your body with no expectations and enjoy it, have fun, roll out, laugh and try again. I know I get fatigued after a few, the body won't perform well like that. Is your core strong? A strong core can help with this pose especially getting up xxx 💖Please keep me posted on your progress x

Hi, Thank you for your comment. I would suggest the arms, to begin with - building the strength in the arms by performing the Dolphin pose...once you get comfortable and strong with this then the arms will be able to support the rest. The core is also important...the neck builds its strength with the support of the arms and core over time...That's why we use the arms to start to take pressure away from the neck. I hope this helps, keep practising using arm strength. if you just keep your feet down also - try one leg at a time and then work to both over time :-) Good luck and keep me posted x

HI, You need to build the strength over time...but your arms are to assist. You can also look to invest in headstand / shoulderstand chairs. But let you body get familiar - my body feels as light as a feather when doing it now after years of practice. I hope this helps :-)

Hi Maria, Thank you for your comment. x It will come, keep trying. Its a tipping point where it just happens. Could you try lifting one leg and then the other for a while...May be someone can help you with the lift and support you? Could you practice your dolphin pose with a lifting leg (one-legged dolphin) that will get the body more used to it also 💖

Hi Rishiraj, Thank you for your question. I would suggest holding it once a day as part of your practice. Work on staying in the posture. May be a few breaths to begin with then build upon that to 10 breaths and so forth. Well done for learning it. This is wonderful :-)

I would try once or twice, you can feel fatique after one try. Just get familiar and then practice 5 / 6 times a week. For 3 -5 minues or 10 breaths and you can always add longer. Well done x Thank you for asking. :)

No trying to hate but while she is taking her legs up she uses momentum which your not supposed to do . By momentrum I mean is kicking your feet of the ground when you are lifting your legs up you need to use core strength and not flexibility. I hope this helped ☺️
@Consciousbreathyoga
4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for your comment. It certainly does require core strength. Within this video, I was pointing out basics and safety for the neck. I think it all comes over time, and as it is for beginners, I wanted to make it as realistic as possible. The strength in the core can come over time with practice...BUT I do feel as a beginner the most significant thing I wanted to protect was the neck and correct alignment :) As it could be a massive problem if done incorrectly. I hope that makes sense. Thank you for sharing your thoughts; it does come from the core! 💖
