"Hey team, welcome back to Kinetic U. Now we're gonna go over the suitcase carry. I'm also gonna show you the variations of that exercise. It's a great exercise for lower back stability by increasing the endurance of the quadratus lumborum. So with this one, the way you pick it up is very important. You're gonna...if you can, have it elevated on a box, or a bench, or even a chair, you're gonna go into a hip hinge to pick it up, grip it really firmly, set that shoulder back, and then drive up to a nice, tall position. From there, you're gonna go for a little stroll. Walk forward.
That's progression number one. From there, you go into a front rack position, here. Let's talk a walk.
And lastly, you can press it straight above the head. Continue to grip it really firmly. Go for a walk.
