There are many occasions where you don't have a tripod or ND filter and it’s not possible to put one on the ground where you’re located. If you have run into these issues and want to capture long exposure shots, here is what you need to do:
1. Put your camera in manual and shoot lots of shots per second of the water or other objects moving.
2. In Lightroom retouch one of photos and sync the rest with that retouch.
3. Select all files, right click and open in layers in Photoshop.
4. Duplicate the top photo, and merge the rest into a smart object.
5. Go to layer / smart object / stack mode / mean or median, and see what works best for you.
6. Using layers merge the long exposure data with the top photo.
7. See the video for more drama tricks!
