Offer more value to referrals
Many times I talk with home care agencies and they just say the give them a brochure and don’t do much else to build a relationship.
If someone just handed you a business card and said, “help me get clients” Would you want to give them business? Most likely not
The best way is to ask what they specifically need, but here is what you can offer that they will see the value in
Offer to provide backup care or respite care for assisted living residents who need temporary home support.
If they are understaff, you can help/or send a caregiver to them to help out
Organize educational events: Host joint workshops or seminars or exercise classes or holiday celebrations or awareness events
Offer to promote their facility in other marketing ventures you do.
Post on social media
2 types of photos one of you or a caregiver in action delivering care and one of you with a patient looking at the camera smiling (this one works well)
Post it on your website and social media, amd share they story of what your are doing/your involvement in the community. If you are running ads, use it for your advertising!
These photos and videos will help you stand out cause no one else will have these photos and people can easily envision there loved one getting care with them.
Learn how to/check on the status of running ads
If you have money, you can learn how to run digital ads for yourself and monitor the performance of them.
Google Ads - Faster, but it is a lot easier to mess up and lose money on.
Need not only the right keywords, but you need to make sure your page is well set up.
SEO - Takes a while to get going, espiecally in a highly competitive area. Lowest amount of time is 3 months, but it can take as long as a year. Need to get reviews and ensure you know what youre are doing and is a lot more intensive
Facebook - Takes creative mind and technical setup. While cheaper then google, you need to put more time and energy and possibly money for the creative.
You need actual pictures and cannot get away with stock
