Another exceptional video. This will be shared through my mediums and hopefully people listen. You're dead on, point one is extremely easy, point two a little less so, point three requires deliberate effort. But NONE of this is impossible nor exceedingly difficult. Still actions which are rarely seen today.

So simple, and yet so hard. I'm working with 98% civilians at the moment. Last week I had to walk through this. Nuance: don't just "do what your boss says" when you can "think/act for your boss" instead. Specifically, the Boss asked to personally handle a sticky administrative function that he didn't even need on his radar. Even though his team had a plan to accomplish the task, they called off the plan, took a delay of game penalty, backed up the ball five yards, and called the Boss in from the sidelines to finish the drill. "We didn't want to take it out of his hands." "You're job is to take as much out of his hands as you can!"

I don’t agree with any of them. We are human beings not their slaves. 1. Do what your boss says so long as it’s lawful. 2. Understand how your boss thinks and adjust accordingly 3. Anticipate your boss’s needs And in return, they must show appreciation. Otherwise, schedule a sit down to rehash expectations so no one is disappointed.
