Thank you for your comment. It makes sense that you responded better to this exercise. The knee is a weight-bearing joint and often you have to load the joint with quad activation in weight bearing to have the best effect. But we start with the seated version of the exercise to help ensure that you won't get flared up doing knee extension. Stay tuned. The next three exercises tend to be even more powerful eliminating knee pain.
