I've actually been in this situation so many times and at many times found myself not knowing what exactly to say or do to make the person feel better. Huge dilema. Will definitely keep this video in mind :) Thanks Martin!

All you gotta do to make somebody break a bad mood is look at them dead in the eyes then move your eyebrows around a bit. works on me and all my friends.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! I always have a problem to overcome embarrassing situation! Do you have any solutions that you use after those embarrassing moments?
@PeakYourMind
9 жыл бұрын
Matin R Depends on the situation! But for the most part in those moments, I like to not take myself too seriously. We all have embarrassing moments or blunders, they make good stories and if we can laugh at ourselves they don't have to be too bad

Hey Martin! How would you go about dealing with someone who you've liked for a while and connected with as friends (specifically a girl) who has become distant and isn't creating opportunities to hang out, and you want her to start being more active with you again?

Hey Martin! I'm sure you recommended an inspiring/motivational book for the viewers to read, but I can't seem to remember which video you mentioned it in and what the book was called! I hope you can help? If you remember yourself, that is! Haha! And, oh! Thanks for sharing your current favourite song. It's a great song, isn't it?! I love how they've incorporated Indian culture into their song too! Makes it all the more enriching and special.

What if they get more upset that you’re trying to joke around while they’re in a bad mood?
@PeakYourMind
6 жыл бұрын
Start with empathy, build rapport and give them space to express their feelings, then use humor to try to break them out. Something else to consider is sometimes people don't want to get out of a bad mood, they want to stay there and that's their decision

Your videos are awesome, but listening to you makes my head hurt. *Laughs* You speak really, really fast, and it's making it very hard to follow and absorb what you have to say. (Or maybe it's cuz I'm an introvert. It's exhausting at any rate.) But I do love your videos tho. ^^

+PeakYourMind I can understand that. I listen to Alpha M's videos too, and they're freakishly good as well, but it's overwhelming and painfully exhausting to listen to. *Chuckles* Good thing I don't currently have a social life, I spend all my energy on listening to people on youtube, I have literally zero energy left for friends. *Laughs*
