Since KZitem's update that removes the public dislike count has finally taken place on my end, I'll be updating the description with the like:dislike ratio sporadically. Also! Trying out a new "aspect ratio" for the video. The ratio between normal video and the background frame. I had some comments a while ago saying they confused the occasional flash of lightning with their phone notification, I figured making the background larger may help with the distinction. Lemme know what you think :)

Fun Fact. If you use specifically King K Rool's counter against specifically Giga Bowser, it will actually launch Giga Bowser, and he'll actually be on the ground in a missed tech position. (I found this out during a Wol run, so you might need to use a spirit combination to get it to work. I used Soma Cruz + Celebi when I found this out.)

This happens with every counter except Chrom's (still works with Chrom but needs rage) and also works with some select moves like G&W Judge if he rolls 9, or Hero's up smash with a specific setup.

@@petery6432 Roy's is a bit weird because you need to hit with a specific hitbox, same with Ike's but it's not as weird. Also forgot to say it probably doesn't work with Sora because of the move cancel thing, and definitely doesn't work with Sephiroth because GBowser's attacks are too strong.

the item is counted as part of Luigi's final smash. the knockback of the final smash itself is amplified and the items that were sucked in get the same knockback amplification due to being sort of counted as part of the attack.

If you mean the Final Smash is a counter, why does it work when a player's hurtbox gets close to Luigi? Is the knockback of items usually increased due to the Final Smash? What if a projectile comes close to him? What if a Ditto or assist trophy comes close to him?

I believe Beyonetta has the fastest pummel, doing around 150 hits to a 999% opponent before breaking out instead of 80, so 10,000 hits is probably possible in under an hour of setup 🙂

I think the luigi final smash thing happens because of the insane pushback characters have when inside other entities (It's the same concept as pac-man having a super long roll if he runs into his hydrant first). I think the amount of pushback is actually based on the momentum of the character running into the entity because you can see the difference between two character walking and running at each other, and so naturally since luigi's final smash has a lot of base knock back it makes the character go even farther. That's just my theory tho

The forward-roll having more distance is likely to account for the fact that forward-rolling is often THROUGH another character, so the extra distance amounts to about the same amount of space between you and the opponent.

When I tried the silhouette glitch on Rosalina, I killed Rosalina before Yoshi landed on stage, and everything was as it is with other characters. What I find strange is that Luma also becomes a silhouette, despite not being eaten by Yoshi, just like Nana with the Ice Climbers.

Two things, 1. On Palutena's temple, there's a small platform a little bit above where you would usually do the infinite combo glitch, the person being combod can be on the edge which means EVERY character with a multijab can do it, and with the original method, fixed damage helps some characters do it when they couldn't before

Something I think you should test is how the offscreen “magnifying glass” damage works, especially with invincibility. I think if you have a star it will still apply, but I might be remembering wrong.

Nope, I just tested, offscreen damage doesn't seem to apply with a super star active. (Interestingly, it doesn't seem to exist at all in training mode, so I had to go into an actual match to test.)

The shadow glitch sets your y coordinate to NaN. Getting hit with something with a sakurai angle (most connecting hitboxes) will give knockback of (x=NaN,y=NaN) since it's knockback is determined by the difference in positions of the two characters. the result is the hit character's position becomes NaN, NaN. When converted to an integer NaN becomes 0, which is why the characters appear to be in the center on the minimap. Comparisons get real weird when you compare numbers and NaN is involved, which could explain why everything always hits. I haven't figured out why you become a shadow yet though.

The damage cap thing makes sense from a programming standpoint. If I wanted to make a game with something like this, I'd write code that looks a bit like this: 1) Increase damage by X. 2) If damage>cap, set damage to the cap. And then I would just repeat this code for every source of damage. What probably happened is, while repeating that code, they forgot to copy over the second part for this specific lava, which explains why the lava can exceed the cap, and why any other source of damage resets it.

Since this is the last balance patch, there is no additional patches for amiibo support. All we have to do is wait for the figures to release - or wait until some etsy store uses pirated amiibo cards.

@@somethingfunny9488 The thing is most amiibo are generally already compatible with the game if they are based on a fighter - really the only thing the update gave the Dread Samus amiibo was the ability to gain the spirit from the amiibo, you could technically already train it as an FP. Like Zelda & Loftwing for example - Zelda and Loftwing allows you to train Zelda as an FP, but didn't grant the spirit - and this wasn't updated to be added into the game. Really the only future amiibo thing that would occur is if they made an amiibo of a spirit already in Smash Bros, and then update the game to allow said amiibo to grant said spirit when scanned.

I think what's happing with Luigi's final smash is the thing is being placed in the same place but due to two objects being unable to take the same space one gets lunched with extreme force and the other is aloud to remain in position. that's just a guess

The fake KO glitch was one of the first things I did with Sora when he released. I actually wonder now... What if you were to get the glitch during a final smash like Joker's, where it instant KOs the opponent? Spirits that create invincibility might be needed.

Unfortunately no, I believe Metal Slash does fixed knockback. I'd be more interested in seeing when a move like Ness's down-tilt would kill. That still sends literally nowhere at 999%, but it's not actually fixed knockback so there should be some obscenely high percentage where it would actually kill.

I did comment this before, but if you launch someone as pyra but switch to mythra before the opponent is ko, it’ll count as a mythra ko, even if pyra dealt the finishing blow (likely the same for Pokémon trainer and other stances character from previous games)

Just something about the 999% glitch wolf has the fastest pumble so if you did the glitch with him you could get possibly get over 10000. I let marios perscent build up for about 10 minutes. I pumble him with wolf and almost got 1000 hits off and thats with a few times I stopped pumbleing mario cause my finger was getting tired.

Little Mac actually has a faster "normal" pummel than Wolf, but in terms of total number of hits, Bayonetta has the fastest because each pummel she does is actually two hits.

About the infinite combo on palutena's Temple, there are a lot of places you can do this : - The upper spring in the cavern (as you showed in the video) - All 3 of the platforms on the pillar above the fountain - The little platform behind the cpu in training mode With these methods, i have been able to get 1000+ combos with every characters that have a multi-jab, except for Min-Min. It even works with Ness's d-tilt, if you have the patience and mashing abilities required. There may be more characters that could work, or other places on other stages, if you find one, please say in in the replies

You can see the glitch at 8:08 in action in classic mode if you lose and continue with a ticket or gold. The announced will say game much sooner and the freeze frame will happen sooner as well, provided you win after continuing.

Im not sure if this is anything too crazy or you havent covered it OR lots of people already know this. But if u stun popo as mewtwo using his down special, nana will go beserk and start to attack you for the duration of popo being stunned. This im guessing is only exclusive to training mode but im not sure. Stunning nana wont give the same effects as popo as he just stands there for the duration of the stun. It should also be noted that if nana were to be stunned by mewtwo while popo is also stunned, she will still attack you as long as popo is still stunned (and ofcourse if she is disturbed in her stun stance during this time). Like i said i dont know if this is a well known mechanic or just some glitch i stumbled upon while i was practicing in training mode. This effect also seems to only work when they are stunned, as i tried to simulate the same thing with jigglypuffs sleep but with no results. I am unaware if it works only with mewtwos stun however, as positioning the deku nut for the ice clumbers was hard, but it would be nice to see you cover this rather bizarre aspect. Also the cpu level doesnt matter. It seems nana will always attack you at the level of 9 despite its level, but i could be wrong. Anyways thanks in advance if you cover this, im eager to see your reaction to what ive found. Update: I managed to stun popo only successfully with the deku nut and yes the same effects occurrred, however sheild break didnt work as im guessing it isnt a function in training as they just instantly went back to unstunned. But now i know that the trait isnt exclusive to mewtwos stun. While i was trying to do the shield break method i noticed that if you stun popo when they are being controlled by another controller, they will have some very, peculiar movements. Nana will rarely attack you, just run around, and the player has no way of controlling them in this state. I think ive explained about as much as i can now.

Shield break time is affected by percent too. The difference being it DECREASES stun time. Maybe you could try that.

That effect seems to cap out at around 400%, where it basically becomes instant even without mashing. So going past 999% wouldn't really be any different.

I have 2 weird facts I just tested: first, I was a mii brawler with helicopter kick and Mach punch fighting captain falcon with 1/4 time speed in training mode on Frigate Orpheon. Will all this said, do a helicopter kick, and a weird jittering happens at the end of the animation about every other time. 2nd, use Flashing Mach Punch on falcon, and for some reason, the final punch doesn’t play out?

When using Byleth’s up b on two opponents, one in front of Byleth and one on a platform in the grab range of up b, it hits up the opponent in front of Byleth but it grabs the opponent on the platform instead. It’s weird and might be because the opponent is hit behind their teammate/third player, but you only grab the character on the platform consistently. Just want to share some nice Byleth tech, cause they don’t get enough love.

About the "Game" text appearing before the slowdown happens actually happens randomly and has a low chance, I've encountered it a lot of times

So I wonder what is the cap on the MAX COMBO counter.... Alright, be right back in a few years once I do MAX COMBO on every character.

I just found what I believe to be a glitch. During the hero classic mode battle with just another hero on the legend of Zelda map. I ko'd with his fireball about half-charged And The screen immediately said game It didn't have that little break that it normally does for some reason

Fact: by going to the stage palutanas temple and going to the platform all the all the way at the end of the stage and not the one that u need to go on a ladder to get on the one that’s just there and do a rapid jab that’s long unlike Kirby or like pit it’s a infinite combo and yes it counts on the meter

Its only black sillouete because of how the lighting doesn't last forever and their texture? is applied somewhere else
