I grew up around Indians and lived in the Middle East for a year, and I can’t believe Indians have kept these golden secrets to themselves for all these years. Indians didn't keep this knowledge secret....i find that statement offensive. Indians are warm and love sharing their knowledge....perhaps it's because people couldn't read sanskrit and be.littled ayurveda as hocus pocus. Many Indians put up with abuse and racism when sharing ayurveda to help people and now its treated like oh my god have you heard of ashwagandha.... so many of NRIs were called P***i's told they stink of garlic, fenugreek and all those spices, roots, herbs people now go on and on about...

Great video and I’m happy you got out of your head. I need to get out of mine as well but nothing before it’s time. I purchased all these last April and started using them in May.My reasoning was due to scalp sensitivity in my crown area. So sore I was losing my hair. It’s definitely labor intensive to keep up the mask etc but I made it work for me. I made Ayurvedic infused hair oil and butter. I definitely have stronger. My crown grew back and least 6 in and I use the oil religiously. I recently (this week) started have fenugreek infused water first thing in the morning. Another KZitem channel suggested it helped clear her skin and make her hair fuller. In the two days I started, I’ve experienced it as an appetite suppressant and it flushes/detox the system. I can’t wait to see how my Healy and wellness flourish with these additions.

Great video even though I am seeing it a year later, but I appreciate it!! I started my ayurvedic journey a few months ago (using all Henna Sooq and CP products and a few from the Indian store) and I can definitely tell the difference. I started oiling yesterday and will be documenting that process. I also did an onion spray yesterday as well. I love these herbs and love wash day knowing I'm providing the best for my scalp and hair. I think it's important to know your porosity as well. I was mixing coconut milk with the herbs to make a mask and my hair was feeling a bit hard. I realized that coconut milk is high in protein, so I switched to just distilled water with the herbs and noticed a complete difference. I am low porosity and don't really need the protein as much. Loved this video and will binge the rest!

I've been using some of the herbs for and oil I made for my hair and I tell you it's doing my hair great. After watching your video I will add the rest I've seen in your video I have watched. I can't wait to do the hibiscus and fenugreek mask from your other video.

I get most of my ingredients from a local south Asian grocery store. Maybe try using a Google translator to order the products on Amazon? Also try Mountainroseherbs.com. I get my aloe from the regular grocery store. Hope this helps.

So should you get a trim or big chop before starting your hair journey? Like if you have some split/ dead ends.
@ProudMane
3 жыл бұрын
I have done both at different points in my hair journey. But it's definitely a preference. If you can transition without a big chop I think that's a good idea. If you're hair is breaking off or shedding more than you're retaining length you can consider the big chop. Hope this helps.

@@ProudMane thank you!!! Also Do you recommend using your oil recipe with braids or locks??
@ProudMane

@@ilymucho87 you can. Be sure to sift well. If used on locs make sure you're well loc'd before applying. I wouldn't want it to interfere with that process. But if you've been loc'd for a long time you certainly can.
