Hi, new to the channel and I liked the video where you talked about dropping the racket while starting to bend the knee. In this video, I noticed when you drop your racket, it looks like you're also moving your racket forward at the same time? When I drop my racket, I just drop it instead of moving it forward. Should I be doing it like you?

You have this video, and you also have other videos with various topspin forehand drills where the drill involves a very different, much more abbreviated swing. Does the forehand technique you recommend here assume we have already mastered hitting the ball with topspin, practising that with a much more abbreviated swing? I ask because nothing in the swing breakdown you discuss here really seems to imply hitting the ball with topspin as versus hitting it more or less completely flat, other than when you mention grip options and when you talk of dropping the racket. Is this actually a technique that one should try to develop only *after* mastering topspin?

Loved the video. I was just wondering about your feet positioning when you turn your body to your side to hit the ball. Are your feet still facing the net in the ready stance so that just your upper body moves back in unit turn? or are your feet pointing more towards the side fence like in a serve ? Thanks
