You un-hypnotize a person by just waking them up completely. A loud clap will normally do it. Post hypnotic suggestions can be very dangerous though. It is very possible to get a person locked into a suggestion that they can't shake from. That is why hypnosis should be practiced with care. Don't make suggestions that could be harmful ever

The hardest part about hypnotizing people is remaining confident during the process. You'll get it with practice. Focus on being confident while working through the steps and you'll get it. It is a very powerful skill that takes some time to learn

I have been in the same situation as you. I have always found it is best in life to avoid conflict at all times. There is nothing to be gained by proving a point, or putting yourself into a bad situation to appease others. Just my opinion

Indirect hypnosis is used on people every day by marketing and politicians. Over the past few years they have become extremely unethical in my opinion and have started to use hypnotic storytelling. If you know about this stuff you can protect yourself. I originally planned on not covering hypnotic storytelling, but now since it is being used on the public I will cover it as well.
@derekbanas

Thank you very much :) Yes hypnotic storytelling is something I have been playing with for over a year. I want to present it in a special way and don't want to focus so much on how to manipulate people, but to instead teach how to protect yourself from being manipulated.

You just need to wake them up completely. What you are doing in essence is getting them to focus completely on one thing. If you wake them up they will be back to normal immediately

So I used your suggestions starting about 5yrs ago on my once lazy son who had no view of a positive future. That has all changed now. Thanks to positive hypnosis. He wakes up in a happy mood wanting to succeed everyday. He has a good job now and at 23 finally has a car, insurance, a license and a girl friend I really like. It has taken a few rounds but it does work. I do not feel bad about doing this at all. He was bullied as a child and in quite a funk. Counseling did nothing. I wish i could get a hypnotherapist to help me now. I need to quit smoking and lose 20lbs. Lol

@s2pidmonkey It can be anything. When you start out you should suggest an involuntary suggestion like yawning, eye blinking, itching, salivating, etc. The mind starts to think if you can cause involuntary actions you can then cause them to do anything. It's a slow build up and not a jump to the final action you want them to perform. Check out my sales technique stuff to see real world applications of these subjects. Hope that helps?

People go into trances naturally many times per day. Type "newthinktank Indirect Hypnosis Mind Game's" into google to see some tips. The easiest way to through someone into a hypnotic state is through hypnotic storytelling. I'll cover that subject very soon.

Wake them up completely. That is what is going on when people clap. That doesn't however mean that subliminal messages are erased. Erasing an embedded thought can sometimes be very hard

I'm not a master hypnotist, but I'm ok with it. I saw the people that trained us get people to do unthinkable things. For example getting someone to give you all of their valuables without a thought is easy. I personally believe a person can be hypnotized to do something that they normally wouldn't do.

Normally they are confused about what happened. I normally overload people since this seems to work easier than other techniques. When I ask them what they remember they are vague kind of like if you asked somebody what they did a year ago. Everything gets confused even though it just happened

That is why covert hypnosis is the best way to hypnotize people. If you tell someone you are going to hypnotize them and they refuse that is the end of the experiment. If they don't see it coming though that is a different story :)

You won't need to count very far. The idea is to use a big number that is a bit hard to grasp in ones mind. 300 is just about right for that

In the beginning you'll just practice putting people into a trance. You can get a person to believe in just about anything. I never considered hypnosis to be a toy. I think it can be quite dangerous. You can basically create any beliefs that can occur naturally. Now think about OCD. It occurs naturally. I have seen people give subjects OCD through hypnosis.

@IdntKnw73 I have found that you can convince people by stating that someone else has had a great deal of success using a technique. Something like Derren Brown who is an amazing hypnotherapist did this and it works every time may get you past their doubt. Then you just have to convince them that you understand what he does and not that the technique works.

@combatsambonyc I know this information can be used, but I'd prefer that it be made available for anyone who wants to learn it. @huntdogdog Everything comes through practice. So much of the success is dependent on your belief that it will work. To build your confidence you could practice with indirect hypnosis and suggestion. I have a ton of videos on indirect hypnosis on my YT channel

Sure you can un-hypnotize them by just taking them out of trance. Clap and that will be it. Chances are only someone who is very gifted at hypnosis could ever create a solid suggestion that could cause problems. I don't think you need to worry about that right now. You have to master story telling before you could do anything serious. As far as I know, nobody has covered that topic online yet

Derek, great job on your video tutorials. I have heard that framing or pre-framing prior to the suggestibility tests are important to the whole hypnosis process. I’m sure it’s part of building the rapport but how is it done without giving a history lesson on hypnosis. I’m curious to how to initiate hypnosis on someone I was interested in hypnotizing & then be able to explain what hypnosis is to ease any misconceptions. Would you do a video similar this one on framing or building rapport. Your website & videos are fantastic on NLP & hypnosis, keep adding more!!

That may not always be possible. Some people are just mean spirited. They are not worth your time. Ill be very blunt, because that is sometimes the best course of action. Have you ever seen a fish and wondered what it's opinion was of you? No of course not. Those people that are mean for no reason are worth your time just as a fish is worth your time. Clapping your hands or just getting their attention will pull them out of trance. Think about a time in which you were very tired and struggled keeping your eyes open. If someone walked up and patted you on the shoulder you'd probably wake up instantly. Hypnosis is the same.
