@@TheRustyRooster Actually after looking at your video, and verifying that indeed, it should slide off, I went back outside and tried again. I already had removed the four bolts and was using chisels on each side as wedges, but it wouldn't budge. Finally put a little heat on the gear and kept at it.. it slowly stated to move and I got it off. (I planned to replace the seal anyway, although it didn't really get that hot. ) It was a bitch.. took an hour of hammering and adding shims, but no damage done. Your video still helped me. Thanks. Maybe I should slide it back on and make a (fake) video.. 😀

So quick question. How do I know what gear box to use for a particular pump? I have a Gx390 and I would like to put a 5-6gpm pump on it and hoping to get maybe 3500psi. Is there some sort of chart you can point me to to figure out what gear box to use? Thinking to use a general pump but I am not stuck on that. Thx for any help.

Small oring that goes between mount flange and gearbox? I don't know the size shouldn't be anything special it simply seals the 2 parts together. Here is a link to comet gearbox www.cometpump.com/product/gear-reducers/

I think I installed mine backward the big gear with the little screw, you are installing the gear with the screw looking at the pump, in put it looking to the engine 😂😂😂😂 it came factory that. And it seems like it really doesn't matter.

Yep. The big gear I put it backwards. Lucky for me a thank to your video I noticed my mistake and did the corrections. And it works fantastically. Thanks.
