This video was accidentally filmed very overexposed, so that's why the color might look a bit off. 📸

Awesome! I'm roofing a shed with leftover S tiles my builder left. Your vids are the first ones that get right to the point and are practical. Other tubets are philosophers, drone pilots with endless intros, and take 15 minutes before laying a single tile. Good job and thank you!👍

Hey thanks for video! ... when you walk onto the roof for the first step.. where is it best to put your foot so you dont break a tile? Where it connects to the eve or where 2 tiles overlap? THANKS!

Hi. Great vids! Curious what type of nail you use? I need to repair a few and see different recommendations online

As long as it’s a galvanized or some type of rust proof coating and long enough you’ll be in good shape

Why is there such a big gap at the pipe vents and roof vents and how do you correctly seal that
@RoofRepairSpecialist

If you mean the gap between flashing and tile we don’t seal that. Water flows downhill

If your roof has him I would put it back. Usually for high pitched roofs here

@@RoofRepairSpecialist old timer taught me this trick said it was the only way to install tile. Basically it evens out all the courses so they're all even and you don't have a short course at the ridge. If you do it rite all the rows will come out even and all your lines land somewhere between 12 or 13 1/2, it's kind of hard to explain in writing but You do a 2 in. line from the ridge your bottom line at @ 14 in. Pull a tape between the lines then depending on how many course theres going to be you swing the tape until you hit an increment of 14 or 13 1/2 then follow the increment you started with all the way. If you do it rite it spreads the short course evenly through all the courses. For S tile as long as your lines are at least a foot apart and your installing bats your tiles won't be kicked up and all your courses are equal. However I prefer not to go less than a 12 &1/2 inch gap between my lines p.s never done tile without doing bats didn't even know you can go straight to the deck lol

does rain get under the tiles and leak through the water barrier holes made by the nails?
