Since watching at least 4 of your videos, yes I'd definitely agree with one of your replies below that you are a perfectionist. It's an education though just to watch you do your work in these videos and since I am planning on making some new cabinets myself these videos are quite valuable in helping me plan for the work ahead.

Fantastic setup and work! Apart from the top, I’m very much liking the Felder FAT300!?! Never seen one before and it looks like one of the more versatile tools you’ve got in your shop! Thanks for the informative video!

I absolutely love the FAT 300. Should have been the first thing I purchased when I started my business. No need to call someone to help me lift stuff anymore.

How were you able to ensure a parallel cut when you took 1/16” off the side of the wood panels?
@frenchriversprings
3 жыл бұрын
Because I know the blade cuts 1/4” beside the sliding table
@uproarink

I was asking more about how you make sure the panel was square to the table before you made your parallel cut. I suppose the panel is already parallel to the fence.

Would like to know more about Odie's oil. Its expensive for such a small jar, but you must feel it worth the cost. Does it need to be reapplied on a counter top from time to time? What makes it so much better than other oil finishes (some are also food safe)?
@frenchriversprings
3 жыл бұрын
Odies oil is not that expensive cause one jar can do 400 sq feet. Maybe for high traffic such as countertop odie’s oil may need to reapply every six months? Not shure as it’s kind of new to me. Did a few sample almost a year ago and recently put water on it and it beads right off. Other oils have to be applied often. Odies is different, it cures in the wood and is more like honey than oil. It’s in the hard wax oil category and odie’s is food safe.
