In this Light Painting Tutorial I how to Light Paint an All Seeing Eye using a print out of an eye that is painted black, a kaleidoscope, and tools from Light Painting Brushes. First I printed an image of an eye then colored it in with markers. I cut away all the white areas and then spray painted it black. Then I placed the cutout on a canvas, in this case a sheet, a technique that was pioneered by fellow Light Painting Artist Jason Rinehart. I lined up the eye center with a homemade kaleidoscope that is three pieces of mirror that are simply taped together with clear packing tape. Then I use tools from Light Painting Brushes to illuminate the scene and create what I think is a pretty cool image. The All Seeing Eye has many interpretations I am curious to hear what your thoughts are on this image in the comments section below. I would also highly recommend reading and/or researching "The Creature From Jekyll Island". Watch your step down the rabbit hole and don't say nobody warned you. Enjoy.
The Camera Settings were: ISO100, F8, Shooting on Bulb Mode. Total Exposure Time for the final Light Painting was 72 seconds.
