I use a simple T chucked into a cordless drill. It engages with the hand wheel of the compound and makes turning tapers a lot easier. Thanks for the video !

That is a nice big billet of steel! Did you buy it cut off to size? I would hate to have to buy 5 Mts of that. Chris B.

Might try adding a tool to allow you to use a drill on the compound handwheel.

Great work! Very interesting! Is a rotary measuring table very expensive? 1/1000" is pretty accurate, isn't it? I'll need one of those sooner or later because I have to measure my stone exhibits for accuracy. Greetings and keep up the good work!

The rotary table isn't used to measure anything, it is very useful for machining on a radius using the milling machine.
