Growing vertically is a great way to make the most of space!
You can pick up a t-post for less than ten bucks, so it's a cheap and very sturdy way to build a trellis. By adding a PVC tee and some conduit across the top, you have a great trellis put together!
This is a great way to trellis heavier plants like tomatoes and melons. You can use things like string or wire to fill in the trellis structure. I do recommend making sure your string is pulled taught by anchoring it down with a stake.
