Hello Hadja, thank you for watching, if you don't need that much chin chin divide the given recipe into 2 half. For instance use 1kg or 8 cups of all purpose flour 400g or 2 cups of sugar Magrine 250g or 2 sticks of magrine or 1cup 5 eggs Half tablespoon of nutmeg 1 teaspoon of baking powder Half cup of milk Half teaspoon of salt I hope this helps. :)

I must applaud your efforts thank you for all your awareness, I made chin chin yesterday following your exact recipe and steps but mine was with 8 cups of flour, 2 sticks of margine and 3 eggs and the rest alike . After the whole process my chin chin was soft I don't know what went wrong, is there something I'm not doing right?
@joyfulcook
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Hilda. From the measurements you used it means you were supposed to use half of everything I used. You should have used half cup of milk not one. So here's the recipe for half. 8 cups of All Purpose Flour 1/2 cup of milk 5 eggs ( or 3 if you want it crunchier) 2 cups of sugar ( or less) 2 sticks of margarine 1/2 st 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 tablespoon of nutmeg I hope this helps ❤
@hildaokonofua7372
4 жыл бұрын
@@joyfulcook thank u for your kind response, infact I used everything half as you specified, the only diff was the milk which I used a full one and the baking powder I used 1/2.. could it be that was my mistake? Or could it be the margarine of 2 sticks is too much for 8 cups of flour
@joyfulcook

Yes that's the mistake.Try it next time with the exact measurement and let me know how it goes.
