You can speed ramp 120fps from normal back up to 120fps. Are you using ND's for the daylight content. Looks like you are at 5.6f which is more broadcast. Do you use manual focus for live action following the ball to the receiver?

Yes! I completely agree, I use both 120 fps and 60fps and speed ramp both but i like to use 24fps for other shots. then to answer your questions: I use the internal NDs on my c70 during the daylight as well, Im normally anywhere between f2.8 and f5.6 while filming depending on the scenario, and yes I use manual focus

Hello! Loved the video! I wonder if you could give me some extra tips, because I have a Canon 200d , and I usually make videos of indoor volleyball games and unfortunatelly, the light most of the times, is not the best indoors. I have 3 lens, a 50mm, a 55-250mm and the 18-55mm

You need to invest in a low aperture lens but.. if you can’t then just learn your camera , shoot in manual and try to get the best out of what you have. But when you are able to upgrade serious upgrade to a low aperture lens

I agree with what Caleb said, a low aperture lens would be ideal for indoor gyms. However, for now shoot at the lowest possible aperture and make sure you are properly exposing in camera and learning how to color grade well.

@@thebobbymedia literally couldn’t of said it better . She can get a decent image out of it if she exposes correctly and color grades

Hey man! I’ve been wanting to get into sports videography. I was wondering what Camera you use, I’m thinking it’s an FX30 but I don’t know 🤷 Great video though, definitely subscribing

Great video, the only thing I disagree with is shooting handheld. I love shooting handheld and still get great stable shots!

Yeah totally, if handheld works for you go for it! I wish I was able to do that

@@thebobbymedia You can go handheld up to 200mm. Your rig is to heavy to go handheld by the way.

@@contentm3893 Yes I completely agree, I worded that poorly in the video but it is very feasible to go handheld for field sports up to 200 mm. I mean to recommend a hi hat as a tool for people who are interested. For me, i know that my set up is too heavy and my 70-200 becomes a 105-300 equivalent on my super 35 sensor so it makes more sense to use a hi hat/tripod.
