They're all inspirations of Burial who has initiated Future Garage in the first place.

Having watched a lot of your tutorials I decided to get a copy of Ableton, it's a 90 day trial, I got the lite version with an M Audio purchase so I'll save a few bucks when the time comes, I can follow your LoFi tuts more easily as well, great videos, really well done for that! ;D

Whenever I make ambient genres like this I always end up obsessing about phase and mono compatibility. In your opinion how much should I care about that stuff in ambient music and how do other artists achieve these huge, lush pad sounds that still seem to collapse to mono?? Thanks Will, I've really learned a lot from your content 🙏🏻

I wouldn’t be overly concerned, just pan and EQ your pads accordingly. Keep a bass or simple pad in mono and have your other sounds panned/align delayed around it

Thank you! This is genre I've been trying to learn lately. I think my problem is that I add too much stuff in and now I see that it's pretty simple after all. I also download ableton while ago and it's cool to see how much you can do with just that. You don't need anything special. I have previous experience with ableton, so I have the basics, but new things are constantly coming

Keeping it simple is definitely the way and with Ableton, it's so easy to do just that, use all the onboard plugins and you're set!
