A lemon-infused olive oil (or, better still, one in which the lemons have been pressed with the olives) would be fantastic on this salad.

Try Sciabica’s Lemon EVOO, where the lemons are cold-pressed with the olives. I’m addicted to it!

You're supposed to cut the pomegranates on the joint sections, that's why you cut the head off first before you do, so you can see where to cut.

So are there people who just visit KZitem videos just to downvote the content?
@morganbiddlecom

This video is a repost. I downvoted because I'm annoyed they keep reuploading old recipes instead of giving us new ones.

Morgan Biddlecom They repost the video in sections so that you can come back and find just the part you need to make the recipe or find a product or equipment review rather than scrolling through the video of the entire show. How is it that you don’t see this pattern? You should remove your thumbs down and use your brain.

Why compose this salad! I can’t think of any other reason than presentation. I’d rather have a decomposed salad lol. I want all the strong flavors to blend and to distribute all the ingredients evenly. The way you’ve served it is very pretty, but I’ll decompose it every time! Also, I think fresh mint ribbons would work as well, and I prefer mint. I also love the feta made from sheep and goat milk, and a lot more of it! Don’t y’all think that toasted and chopped walnuts would go well with these flavors? Well, I do.

Could you make barley similar to cooking rice with lid on for a time?
@johndough8219

It's similar to brown rice but takes a tad longer to cook. I cook mine in a pressure cooker to save time.

This is not even remotely Egyptian. Pomegranate molasses is not used in Egyptian food, we don't cook with barley that often, we also don't eat fruit or grains in our salads.
@Titaniklord

In egypt they eat everything but evry city have different cosine and different food and the high level people do different dishes that's why you family not eat fruit with food but there some family do . And Egypt is the first cantry in world make perfume in pharaoh time . But France stole the pharaoh perfume technology from egypt. That's why only france famous on perfume. And the only Egypt now make the perfume oil from jasmine flower and sell it to france to make the perfume from jasmine flowers oil .

It doesn't have to be from ancient Cairo to be called "Egyptian". It's inspired by flavors found in Egypt's cuisine.
