🔴 Ice Cream Cake Pops
For the Cake
1 box Vanilla Cake Mix amzn.to/2R3QDjK
2 tablespoons Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting amzn.to/2FgG7n1
To Assemble
1 box of mini sugar cones amzn.to/2F9POn4
1 (12 oz) white candy melts amzn.to/2F9KaBB
Chocolate Colored Balls (I bought mine from Walmart)
Rainbow sprinkles
Prepare and bake cake according to package instructions and allow to come to room temperature. Once cake is at room temperature, cut out the edges and remove the cake from the baking dish and add to a large mixing bowl. Remove any browning off the top and bottom of cake and crumble the cake with your hands. Add 2 tbsp of frosting to cake and mix with a spoon or your hands until the cake comes together. Scoop cake with ice cream scoop and press cake into hand and then roll the cake ball with the palm of your hands to smooth any imperfections. Place formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Refrigerate 30 minutes to one hour, or until firm.
Meanwhile, melt the candy melts. Make sure you melt them in 30 second intervals in the microwave with mixing in between until smooth (you can use the double boiler method if you don’t own a microwave).
Barely dip the top of the mini cup cone into the melted candy melts, just enough to put a ring at the top of the cone. Place the cone upside down on top of the refrigerated cake balls. This helps the candy adhere to the cake balls. Dip the cake balls (with the cone attached) into the melted candy, completely coating it to the edge of the cone. Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles on top and top each with a chocolate ball while the melted candy is still wet. Enjoy!
