This is the video I was looking for. I had heard that oranges makes nice wine, as my orange juice concentrate fermented. It tastes great, thank you.

Don't need to measure the yeast, a half teaspoon or 4 tablespoon do the same, the reason for the is yeast is a fungus not quite like a mushroom, but it grows and divides so the 1/4 teaspoon will eventually grow into 6 tablespoon anyway, it grows as divides using sugar and other nutrients, but in the process turns the sugar into alcohol, so the more sugar you have the higher the alcohol content, that's as long as the yeast don't run out of nutrients to grow and divide or you will wind up with sweet wine, but at 16 to 17% the alcohol starts to kill the yeast, you can get it as high as 20% by adding yeast nutrients and adding sugar slowly to make the yeast more resistant to alcohol, but to get it to 20% you really going to know what you're doing also takes time, so I would not recommend most people trying it it's not really worth it.

@@beaverbank9823 That all depends on what yeast you use and temp etc due to fermentation. But the good thing is the lime drops the ph and helps prevent botulism and other bacteria. As it will drop the PH to a 4 if I remember correctly. Always remember I am not a professional brewer and always brew with caution at your own risk🙏

Hey Adam, Thanks for the video. I haven't tried OJ yet, But I have made quite a bit of homemade wine. Currently I am fermenting a Chai spiced cider. Been going for a few weeks now. Finally starting to clear up. After fermentation is over I usually transfer to Mason Jars and stick into the fridge. As they age they get a bit stronger. Keep up the good work. Give us an update when is finished. Have a Great Day. Be safe.

We made this in jail with a fruit cocktail. We smashed the fruits into mash. Sugar, and bread. Squished the bread back into a doughy texture. We sped the process up by keeping the bag in hot water. Just took 2 to 3 days. We stayed drunk af! Good way to make money in jail. 😂

Bread yeast will only make up to about 8% alcohol. To do better, use wine yeast.

wrong, but fun to comment incorrect information, usually 12-13.5% abv is when most bread yeasts die.

Hell yeah! I just finished fermenting a batch with wine yeast. Had two glasses and knocked me round a bit. Woke up in the morning with a mild hangover. I have drank a store bought 18% abv Port wine and this home made brew is much stronger. This weekend I will drink a whole bottle. Hope I'm still standing by the end of the night.

Today I drank orange juice that hasn't been refrigerated and was opened like a week ago, I drank it and it tasted like alcohol, I kinda liked the flavour, but I don't think it was a good idea to drink a spoiled orange juice
