After trying out the original Panda Express Orange Chicken Recipe, I wasn’t satisfied with the taste. So I decided to make my own Orange Chicken recipe, with a tasty savory orangey sauce covering juicy crunchy fried chicken.

Chicken and Marinade
400g Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
1 Large Egg
2 Teaspoon Chinese Cooking Wine
1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Pure Sesame Oil
1 Tablespoon Cornflour (a.k.a. cornstarch)
Sauce
3/4 Cup Fresh Orange Juice
1 Tablespoon Grated Orange Zest
3 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1.5 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Pure Sesame Oil
2 Teaspoon Garlic Minced
2 Teaspoon Ginger Minced
1 - 2 Teaspoon Dried Chili Flakes
Flour for Frying
1/2 Cup Cornflour
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Ground White Pepper
90g Red Onion Chopped
1 Stalk Spring Onion
2 Tablespoon Cornflour + 2 Tablespoon Water
1 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds
