Looks super tasty! 🤤 Made your Cantonese pan fried chow mein today (since I bought lots of Chinese dried noodles recently). Very good! ...nice balance of flavors. Tastes like restaurant! Also made your DTF chops a few weeks ago... mine looked burnt compared to restaurant, lol... but tasted awesome still.

Yes! For the pan fried noodle the key is the mushroom water. It has so much flavor and when it’s a sauce on top of noodles it’s the best! 👍😆

Myself I like onions on the raw side but if you put them in before the garlic they will get cooked more without your garlic burning! 👍🏻

Hi Steven, hope all is well with you. So I’ve only used Chinese cooking wine when called for cause I usually have it on hand. I’ve read elsewhere you can use sherry wine and Japanese mirin as substitute.

Is the potato starch and corn starch interchangeable?

Yes it is when using as a sauce thickener. Personally I started using potato starch more cause it’s cheaper than cornflour.
