I will try your advice for the next time. I bought your program 13 WEEK for Ranger School and my running and overall strength improved a lot ! Thanks and keep it

I will focus on my core strenght and the other two additional exercises you explained. Thanks again for this video.

NIce. I forwarded the video to my son. My only remark is at the 3:15 mark in the video when point straight out horizontally and call that 45 degrees, horizontal is actually zero degrees. So I do agree that an angle halfway between horizontal and vertical is what to shoot for, but that is 45 degrees not 70 degrees.

About 2 weeks ago I was approached by my new CO and asked if I wanted to go to ranger school in January... like 2 weeks from now. I of course said yes and have been scrounging to get everything off my packing list together. I was just about to get a rangerpack and I saw that you had uploaded this video, I watched it when it was newly posted "1 hour ago" and thought to myself. Nah I shouldn't comment, probably won't win. But my wife is pushing me to, thankfully I have her. Hoping to knock out ranger school then middle of next year go to SFRE then on to SFAS. Best wishes, thanks for all the tips.

Guess I always thought the rules stated you have to grab it from the sides. Otherwise it would be obvious to grab it from underneath. Maybe that’s just a misunderstanding or miscommunication somewhere. I went and looked it up and it states that the hands have to be as far around the sides as possible. Suppose there’s a little room for interpretation but still seems like all the way touching underneath is still a fault.

It goes without saying. As he says in the video, it's based on swinging as a lever, not explosive energy. Not only is their standing height as advantage, longer arms result in a longer lever.

Don’t worry so much about what you think you can’t do, just do what you need to. You know the standards for the school/program, so now you just need to do what needs to be done to meet those standards. Our 13-Week Ranger School fitness program is a facilitated process to get you to be able to reach those a goals, for example. To get physically fit, you have to start somewhere, and it may seems really difficult at first, but it will become easier (more enjoyable) with time and as you smash PRs.
