I was sitting here all morning being so thankful for my life and this universe. I am homeless and live in my car since July 13, 2019. I have met plenty of homeless people who don’t have a car. Who are not as smart or capable as me, who have addictions and pain way beyond what people can even imagine. So I am SO THANKFUL that it brings true tears to my eyes. So THEN I watched this video 😂❤👍🏻 I have a job, so I have money but definitely not enough to live on normally. I gave money to a homeless lady I met and spoke with yesterday. We talked about being homeless and I knew she didn’t have a job so I told her “at least I have a job”. But I should have said more. I should have said how thankful I am to live this life. Yesterday morning I ran 10 miles at the quarry lakes park near where I work in Newark, CA. I took many pictures in the rose garden there. If you are thankful and open, then you do not grow rigid as you age. Your creativity can miraculously INCREASE. I spent 5 dollars to get into the park. I met people, pet dogs, experienced beautiful roses, watched birds fly and squirrels play. I thought thoughts about the universe and how I want to save humanity from themselves. ❤ How my love of people and life are debilitating sometimes. I saw a poster at the park that Charlie Chaplin made a movie near the park I love to run in. It was called “The Tramp”. I want to watch that. I sometimes don’t have enough money to eat over the last few years but maybe that 5.00 the first time I went to that park and saw bald eagles in the sky was the best 5.00 I ever spent. Thank you God. ❤thank you Rabbi. For your gifts of love. Thank you. I’m so grateful. ❤ I am going to post the pictures on my Facebook page. And a link to your video. ❤

Dear Rabbi Simon Jacobson, In the book of Genesis, it esoterically tells us that the River that was watering the Garden of Eden became divided into 4 heads after it went out of the Garden. One of the 4 rivers surrounds the land of Ethiopia. Originally, I was born in Ethiopia even though I am a US citizen right now. As you know from history, Ethiopia is the only black nation that was never colonized by the Europeans. Consequently, Ethiopia kept its own history, Alphabets, culture, language, Religion, Philosophy, Psychology, all branches of Science, Political Systems, etc., without distortions for tens of thousands of years. According to the Archaecological discovery/findings, the first Mankind, Lucy's skeleton was also found in Ethiopia, and that made Ethiopia The cradle of Humanity. Since the Bible mentions Ethiopia so many times starting from the book of Genesis, which one of the 4 points you mentioned esoterically represents the river that surrounds the land of Ethiopia after it left the Garden of Eden? Shortly, does Ethiopia represent the mind, or the heart/emotions? Would you please shed some light on this esoterically presented biblical narrations in the book of Genesis regarding Ethiopia. Thank you very much. Yilma Wako.

A very beautiful presentation, Rebbe. You are correct that meditation is our birthright, and that we all have access to it. And it's not just for those who are interested in eastern philosophy. We can never live an uncommon life if we're acting (and thinking) like everyone else. If we ever hope to see the divine spark within us, we must look within - and keep looking.
My reflexes and balance are better than ever, my memory is almodt photographic.

Rabbi Simon, Thank you so much for the sharing of not only the breathing exercise to accompany Modeh Ani, but the sharing of that soul stirring Shir, a very personal sharing from you to all of us. Most deeply affected me. Also as I meditated with the breathing, I was filled with a joy but also a sadness, and tears, my parents (their memory be blessed), were not nurturers and it was a very painful childhood. This was an extraordinary help and I will use it in my evening and morning prayers. Toda Raba.

I don't like conteplate about my prenatal period .There is some reason,I don't know which one,of course. But,I like remember my pregnancy, abot mine delivery when I have given life to my children. Is it normal at my age to search for deeper level of my soul? I think,it is expected.I cannot promise to myself that I will try,but pray in the evening help me to go ahead. Thank You,Sir. Your message give us peacefully emototions.
Rabbi does this make sense to you: I am 71 years old and am still…will always be growing which for me is seeking God and asking how I can serve Him and what does He want me to do with the many gifts he has given me. So far, it’s worked and is still working. I have had to go through many changes in order to be free enough to even hear Him from the world behind my eyes. Okay, that being said, here is my question and/observation: You speak of tension and resolution. I notice lately that if there is tension (oy vey what am I going to do?) and at the same time (I don’t know how to say this so please bear with me)at the same time hold the resolution in my awareness and just keep the tension of those opposites with mindfulness in my consciousness, something manifest from holding those two. From the tension of holding comes something different and completely of itself. I think perhaps that is my soul which is neither tension nor is it resolution but pure possibility. Am I still on the road to think this or have I fallen off the shoulder and am lying in a ditch outside White Plains, New Jersey? Thank you for your time, your graciousness and it I’m off about this would you please have someone call triple A? With every good wish, Jo Spiller

"The lost Rosebud"!! How many people will get THAT reference?! But yes, Mr. Welles' greatest film explored exactly the same themes Rabbi Jacobson is discussing here - man's return to innocence, return to one's authentic self, return to Eden, maybe even return to the womb - themes relating to recapturing who we REALLY are, and would be if we didn't have to scrape so hard to survive in man 's society.

Mr. Jacobsen, what are you're thought's on Rx drugs for depression and anxiety? I'm at that point (43) in my life where I've accepted the fact that I'm not a genius, and science can NOT produce definitive answers for everything! Physicists' discuss maximizing coincidence, and I think meditation may be a greater way to do so, rather critical thinking. Love/Respect
The soul has been damaged, the part that is connected to the earth. It cries all the time, and its grief like a river, because it has been damaged, disabled, given destruction, disorder, death. When the soul endured being blown up, the cognition was damaged, brought forth all sorts of disorders, communication problems, disabilities, mental health problems, people running away from it, and left it on its own abandoned, because it was disabled, disordered and damaged. It was the same moment peace was taken away from the earth, so it is significant. When help was asked for and help was not given, when it affected part of the earth, including nature and the grief is still there, even after decades.I never left the soul and it never left me, even in disablement and debilitation, so bit by bit, I learnt it the soul is still the same, and I learnt it is in destructable and its still the same no matter what, because the soul is my home, the soul is called life. Life is peace, without peace there is no life.

My dad right? I had a basketball game.. he let the clock stay stopped or something.. it was cool. Grade school ball.. but I tell you, my dad was tough too. Got out of the hospital, 7 major stomach operstions in 11 months or something like. .. almost died a fee times I bet. But less than 24 hours after getting out.. ee were packing up to go fishing at sebastian inlet. Guts still basicly open, stomach abdominal muscles cut from lower chest to below his belly button.. and a lap band gurdle.. and we went wade fishing.. both almost drowned because of a dredge thing sheered off a ledge and I stepped off. Bllomp down too.. sheer face drop.. and the old man jumped in to save me.. lol.. I was ok and had the fishing rod and bait bucket , right?.. I start side stoking towards him cause he needed the help, guts open.. he says , save the tackle box dont drop the rod.. only thing better would have been a fish on.. lol.. getting sucked out the inlet at 15knots..lol.. No, Rabbi, Im even good with my Earthly Father. Gonna be hard to be thst kind of man.. not even making that up.. Lol. Fish and Wildlife officer almost ran me over waving for help .. lol.. Not a care in the world.. lol. The day he died, he dropped me off at work, my last words to him were " thanks for the pack of cigsrettes dad, I gotta get to work.." .. I came back home and there he was.. and I knew he was dead cause I didnt hesr him snoring shaking the house.. and he was blueish.. house was dead quiet.. and I closed the door and went to the bar. Said " Im just gonna let you sleep dad.." .. it was rough.. and I come back, no one home.. mom should have been back from worknor something. So I didnt know..maybe he wasnt dead and they went out or something... but her and aaron walk in an hour or two after I got back.. aaron is being all like he's my daddy or some shyt.. my mom behind him walking in.. arron say.. ' jason, Ive got some bad news for you.. " , i fcking wanted to ounch him, not because he was telling me anything, just the way he was saying it.. and my mom was all like mad at me for not being there.. lol.. arron says.. ... " jason.. your dad is dead.. " .. I said I know.. I saw him laying there, thought I would let him rest.. My mom was wondering why I wanted to bust his azz up. Like, Aaron, you are not at all family to me, nor are you his son.. he trested you like one and your scum family wouldnt, you own father wouldnt and didnt care. And you try to pull that shyt on me.. lol. My dad's funneral at my uncle bobs church..right? I was supposed to say something, but I was like.. nahh and I had a hard time.. aaron talks more than even my cousins, dad's brother Bob, was the only one who said more.. the cousins were all pretty broke up.. Aaron just being the man about it.. lol.. And Im not sure wtf my mom thought .. similar when my grandmother, mom's mom, she had a stroke right brain.. yes, no, coffee, fck you, and god damn it, were all the words she knew how to say.. could have meant pretty flowers, cookies and a sandwich and coffee.. not another person in the family cared, mom and dad working 2 jobs.. my half sisters michael and gabby , of course grandmother's favorites wouldnt even come over cause they were azzholes, yet grandmother's favorites.. mugga really not gandma nor grand mother.. well she was on cumadin or something for a long time.. her abdominal vein ruptured .. no, I didnt do anything to her , just weak veins and she died.. I had no clue.. yes. How the fck was I supposed to know.. anyway, no, I didnt have much of a childhood.. i think my mom blamed me for her mother's death.. seriously.. like wtf man.. why me? But the older I get, i think it might have been him.. cause I was out mowing the lawn and maybe went down with autumn and marie to swim in hanks pool.. she was watching andy griffith.. not fully sure .. but yeah.. it was a long time ago... Still hurts.. so, if GOD remembers... then I pray HE shows the real events of those two death days.. I dont want to be an accuser..but my mom also needs to know.. so pray with me, beford they pull the trigger, and they pull the trigger.. that GOD reveal the guilty, and if I am, then that I die and go to hell for it.. as that would be murder.. child or man, that's some fcked up shyt.. and my mother to have any thoughts like that about me.. and not the pieces of shyt witch neighbors .. well.. sort of hurts also.. abortionist witches.. Yet she favored them and fcking treated me a little fcked up and favored michael and gabby who were never there to help mugga nor dad.. they " had a hard time dealing with death".. lol. But Im cool, mortality, shyt has been that way for a long time rabbi. Ya know?

We used to end our prayers with "if I should die, before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take." I have pondered that for years! It seemed such a scary thought, but now I wonder if it didn't really mean, "if my soul decides, in its escape to not return before I wake . . ."
