These guys are pure gold. - I would be very interested in knowing how you know the track is mixed perfectly for different scenarios. club, home, speakers, car, etc. That it sounds perfect all over. I've found some plugins that simulates it, but meh.. i don't know if it's worth it? What's your thoughts JST guys? Please hear my prayer

Great video and a great list! I would add only one thing to the list and that is SATURATION. In my opinion saturation is just as important as eq or compression if were talking about mixing in the box (I know that most of the compressors will saturate the signal either way, but still). Saturation really took my mixes to the next level.

Great content as always! Some folks even go so far as to balance tracks before applying anything except for a high and low pass EQ on some tracks. I'm still learning to use my ear to EQ tracks to taste or to capture the best sounding tracks I can at the source. I have been a working musician for 30 years before trying my hand at sound production. It was humbling to learn my ear for audio production wasn't as refined as I thought. Hearing and understanding the different frequency ranges is quite different from having great relative pitch and being able to figure out songs quickly.

Awesome video as usual, i am a beginner in mixing and all the time I find myself over using everything which destroys my mixes, i'd love to see you making a video on a quick actual process of your mixing to have an acceptable mix. Keep up the good work and looking forward to watching more of your content \m/

I found doing other projects, and coming back (when you kinda forgot how it sounds) can get you out of the rut. If all else fails, start frest... From the static mix :)

It’s been hard to find a video that goes into some good approaches to creating a balanced (static mix). It’s such an important topic but once found doesn’t seem to be taught much.
