1st I like to say thank you for all the great info in your channel. I'm from Vineland so it awesome to have a pro in your back yard. I recently started watching you and I noticed you are a fan of crawdad color. My monster bass box comes most of the stuff is red. So I go to blackwater pick up white and silver zoom flukes and dye them with JJ's magic dip red top chartreuse body. Decided to go out on a rainy day in your stomping grounds and use the donkey rig it looked like goldfish in the water. 2nd cast 3.9, 4th cast 3.8. Watching S. Martin, K. Fischer, B. Latt and yourself I picked up a lot. I had people pulling over cheering me on. On the 27th is a little tournament at Elmer lake I would've never thought about doing it if it wasn't for people like yall. Wait better get my pond prowler registered. Thank for all the info. Tight lines.... thinking about starting a channel called every chance I get.

That was super helpful, the drop shot weight is smart for even weighted areas on both ends & definitely going out to get my glides to tie feathers on

Good tips I have plenty of suspend strips already & reflector tape. I'll b putting that on my glides this evening to try tomorrow. I've been fishing medium 6" soft & hard swimbaits couple yrs now. Just recently started playing with larger swimbaits both soft & hard. I have a 9" glide that is a sinking bait but I can't see it far away so it will have a taped head for sure!

Mike I've got this idea to use a big Glide Bait, in the ocean. It is a specific situation that will require the Bait to sink to 70 feet under. Whatever weight it requires. It has to drift down under a huge school of herring to attract the Pacific Salmon underneath them.

Thanks for the tips Mike. I just purchased a glide bait and was unsure of how to weight it so it looks more realistic in the water column. These tips should hopefully get me on the big ones in no time.

I like Ike, but I’ve never used “blades” or “feathers” and have had great luck out of the box. I guess this mods could entice them a bit more, but in my experience it doesn’t matter as long as they like what the glide bait is doing-especially close to the boat-I’ll kill it and have seen bass watch, watch and the bam!

What size treble do you suggest Mike? It looks like that red dressed treble is not available in a 2/0 which is what comes stock with the Arashi Glide.
