Just found ur content today, it's awsome! I love studying English just for the sake of it haha Im not sitting for any exam now, I just took the First Certificate like 20 yeats ago ahaha but Im immersed in the language everyday bc Im listening to it or reading in English or typing, etc throughout the day, and I keep on learning. Im thinking of purchasing one of ur courses to brush up on it. x from Argentina.

Every time I watch your mock Cambridge exam videos I get quite anxious because it reminds me the moment when I was applying for it. We might know how to answer all the questions in advance, however the moment when you are there is like all words disapear from our vocabulary and I get a feeling that we have to improvise the answers. It is a fantastic experience but so stressfull as well. Thanks for sharing these videos. I had watched all your videos before I applied for the test and they helped me a lot.

You're right. It looks easy when you watch other students do it, but it's a different story when you have do it for real.

Hi Ben, just commenting to say that you really helped me with my C1 Advanced exam. I mostly focused on your speaking videos to practice, and I am happy to say that I received 210 points for speaking. Although I have to take the exam again because my writing was 173 and for a visa application, it should have been +185, I am happy that I chose your channel to prepare for the exam. As you can tell, I would appreciate a few videos about writing in the coming days! :) (Already started to consume what you have got on your channel!!) Thank you so much for being such an amazing teacher & youtuber. You have students around the world (like me) who you don't know you help a lot :)

Hi Ben, first and foremost thank you for your invaluable insight on the exams. I am currently preparing for the CPE and I was wondering... if I used the f-word, or a profanity like "damn" or "hell" during the Speaking test, would that be considered rude? And would it be penalised? For example: if I want to say that something is very funny/hilarious, could I say "That's funny as f***!" or "It's funny as hell"? I hope my question won't offend you, but I watch a lot of movies and also live US and UK TVand people tend to use those phrases quite commonly, especially when they want to emphasise their remarks. I recommend you avoid profanities in the exam. It would be considered inappropriate in that context.
