I’ve had a some requests for this video, so its finally here!! I showed you guys last year how to restore clarity to your headlights with a kit from 3M that retails for $20. It was a great success, and I figured I would do the same kind of thing, but for your wheels. Here are the tools that I used in this video.

If you purchased that same 3M headlight restoration kit for your headlights, and got great results from it, you will be able to get amazing results if you use it on your wheels, for just a few dollars more!! (I hope you didn’t throw the kit away). So if you’ve gone through some of your old stuff and found your kit, that’s great news, because you will just need to purchase some Meguiars M205 Polish (link above) and you will be set to do this exact DIY. If not, you can purchase the 3M restoration kit (YES, it was intentionally made for headlights), by following the links above this paragraph.
You will get great results by going this inexpensive route of purchasing the headlight restoration kit along with a household drill (corded or cordless). If you have a few bucks lying around or you want to invest in a dual action polisher, this would be a terrific time to do so as they will give you better results, in a shorter time, without holograms in the paint (that’s for another video in itself).
I’ve also included a few links above for some polishing pad sets that will mount up to your drill or dual action polisher, should you already have the polish.
As the last step to this entire process comes the protection. I like applying a ceramic coating to the surface to help repel the dirt and water, and it will last a much longer time than any car wax / paint sealant. All of the links and stuff I’ve used can be found above!! Hope this helps :)
If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at milanmastracci@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!! :)
