Punctures happen to every cyclist. We don't think that there's a way to make them a thing of the past just yet, but there are plenty of ways to keep punctures down to a minimum.
Regular inspection and careful riding are the keys to all of this. Avoiding huge potholes and broken glass will go a long way to preventing punctures. Regularly inspecting your tyres will help you to spot issues before they leave you on the side of the road.
If you want to spend a bit of cash to boost your puncture resistance, try running tubeless, using latex inner tubes, or buying tougher tyres - we've found that these methods work a treat.
