Video was extremely helpful for fixing my second gen CRV, exactly the same procedure. Took me a whole weekend by myself on the garage floor with only a little help lowering and raising the transmission.

What setup did you use to raise the car high enough so the tranny had enough clearance to come out? Also, since you worked on the garage floor, how did you support the subframe?

Nice work. Better than all the other videos I watched before this. They all failed to do a variety of different yet important tasks - or explain them. For example, the experts at ACT clutch didn't mention which side the friction disk should be facing. Cool!

This is going to be fun to do in the driveway :) My clutch release arm is wiggly and wont let the slave operate it. I did the slave and master a few weeks back and it was perfect. I drove for about 2 years on a squishy hydraulic pedal, couldn't get the air out without taking it all out in one piece. I either ruined it or it was just time...

Love you video. Your amazing. I think the most impressive this about the video is you did it without even one swear word! I would have been 200 swears deep just getting to removing the clutch! 😅👍 Really appreciate the video. My brother and I are tackling this job tomorrow. This is gonna make it a breeze. 💖

Good job! I'm no pro mechanic, but I tried to leave the intermediate shaft on also, and trying to line up both the transmission input shaft and the intermediate shaft was a no-go. Faster to remove it and replace it, prevents damaging the carrier bearing mount too.

+ZeroPoint Thanks for checking us out! This will take a decent chunk of time depending on the vehicle and if you have done this repair before and have proper equipment. On the low end it will take a couple to three hours and on the longer end, the better part of a day if you are unfamiliar or don't have proper tools. A shop will probably take 3-5 hours

Sabroso Lopez Why does it matter if male or female? It should not matter, but I'LL bet more women whose cars breakdown , depend on a guy to fix it? I think everyone who owns a car should know some basics, including myself. We spend more money on our cars & Homes than we do on food, which is necessary for our Survival. this could be argued depending on size of your family & other factors. Good point u brought up, thanks 4 making me THINK 🙃
