Thank you TRQ- I just clicked on a video and the first thing I saw, “ an older man with overall jeans on, and wait…… it gets better, greasy feet with flip flops!!! (🤣🤣 I know I know…) thank god your video was right below and i was so impressed with how quick and detailed you were and went as far as to even say the Wrench and shock sizes and where the bolts are located. I’ve worked on cars many times but I just wanted to make sure I went in with knowledge on this particular car. Spot on bro thank you short sweet to the point and detailed. Thank you for posting this video! I’ll be sure to drop this link on his video page 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️thanks man 👍🏻

Any idea where I can get a replacement pinch bolt? I can't find a part number anywhere. My bolt head is stripped. I have an entirely new knuckle coming in today there is so much corrosion everything is seized up in multiple spots on this 16 year old car in Buffalo.

Not an easy job to complete without a lift. One thing I did differently to get the ball joint shaft free was to take a 13" pipe and place it on top of the control arm near the ball joint and then use a hammer to drive it down. It came free really easy that way. Putting it back together was a little tricky too. The bushing would not fit back into the socket because the socket was crushed smaller by the previous bolt compression so I took a bigger pipe and hammered it into the socket and then swung it rearward which opened it up just enough to be able to (with some persuasion) get the bushing to go in. Lastly, when it was time to install the ball joint shaft back into it's socket there was a big alignment issue. There was about a 2 inch space between the shaft and the hole. I ended up taking a wood 4 x 4 and used it like a battering ram to push the spindle back toward the shaft until they lined up enough to fit. Once that was all done - it was a breeze! ha If you can find a lift to use for this job, you'd be smart to use it.

I like how he doesn’t trust the torque wrench sound.
