Welcome to the Checkered Floor Garage. In this video I replace the rear cylinder and front cylinder exhaust manifolds without needing to remove the engine.
Patch Notes:
11-Oct-2023: The wrench that I use towards the end of the video to tighten down the exhaust manifold acorn nuts is not a "box end wrench" but instead a "crow foot wrench".
12-Oct-2023: I learned from a commenter on this video that dry lube spray can help when reassembling the air ducts. It allows for much easier sliding in and out and getting a nice secure fit/seat. Dry lube spray also helps out with sliding on clamps as well. I'll pick some up to keep in my garage when I need it.
12-Oct-2023: The intake tube that I show inside of the airbox at the end of the video (~18:55) is, in fact, correctly seated/installed. So if yours looks like this, then you are all set!
16-Oct-2023: Another option instead of replacing the entire manifold is to replace just the damaged studs. One way to do this that I learned from a commenter on this video is the "2 nut method". Check it out if that'll help you out on your Vulcan.
