Shane, thanks for the video, it's really helpful. Though tbh honest I thought you were going to share YOUR lighting setting. That would be awesome!

Shane, what do you think about this particular difference between in-person and online classes? During in-person classes (as long as the instructor allows it) the students can ask questions at any time. It's very spontaneous and the student can get an answer right when the issue is being discussed. From my experience as a student, the instantaneous feedback is very helpful in clarifying my understanding. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.

I'm looking to do online classes thru Teachable or Udemy, part of which will be videos demonstrating a technique or method of doing something. Should I just create a straight forward video or is there a better way to go? Enjoying your videos and I feel I'm learning a lot. Thanks!

Shane....please stop focusing on publishing general theme "how to" content and focus on software.(where you are #1 in my book) Case in point....your focus last year where you made a big deal teaching people how to make courses (even though there are literally hundreds of gurus doing a better job) and took your eye off the software ball. (case in point: I spent months with your team to try to get Thrive Apprentice to work for me before I abandoned it for Thinkific) . So PLEASE ....focus on keeping/making your software great.

While I can appreciate your point William, another point of view I want to highlight is; creating content, currently that's sensitive to the greater context and greater good for the moment. This video series is actually not for you but for all of the newbies who are forced to solve a new problem that covid-19 has thrown them into. Shane's actually practicing proper solid social etiquette in avoiding the mistake of being "tone deaf" when it comes to creating content. He's being a helpful resource -solving an immediate and real problem that many people are wrestling with. There will be a lot of people introduced to Shane and thrive themes for the very first time. This is a long tail play. He's actually being helpful to people who needed most right now. Goodwill is always good business. Good job Shane!

William, I understand your frustration. We have been through some difficult times on the software development side and some of our products were stagnant or not developing as quickly as we wanted. We have overcome these issues though and our development side is in better shape than ever. Here's the thing, though: I'm not a software developer. I never have been. And none of our software developers are involved in making videos or writing blog posts. Me making a course or making a video like this takes absolutely zero away from the software side of Thrive Themes.
