One of my favorite places in Tokyo has to be Hama-rikyū Gardens. And while many visitors go to Tokyo Tower or Skytree to see the city from above, you can also check out the observation decks in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku. Access there is free, but there can be a wait. Watched a sunset there the last time I was in Tokyo. Not sure if it has re-opened since the pandemic.

Thanks a lot for sharing that useful tip for exploring Tokyo in a stress-free way! The Sky Hop Bus seems like a great option for those who have limited time in the city but want to see as much as possible.

OMG, this is so neat! The benefits of not having to do any transfers is what really sold me. I'm going to Japan next year, so I hope they still have these buses available till then! Thanks for sharing Micaela!

Love the video. My family and i was in Osaka last January 2024. We had a great time with the different foods and of course the shopping. Our next destination will be in Tokyo. Your video content is so awesome and informative, i will definitely take your advice and take them busses for a great tour of Tokyo. Thank you very much for the video upload.

This looks like a fun day and I’ll certainly give it a go next visit. Last time we viewed Tokyo on the boat from Asakusa to Odaiba. Not the same but it too was a great way to escape the trains for a day and we had a great time exploring Odaiba. So glad your videos are back - your depth of knowledge and language shines through. ❤

I have recently returned from a 3 week trip to Japan..and I am missing it greatly....My favourite places were Shibuya Scramble Crossing...I could sit and watch that all day....Soshido Temple. The very first place I walked to from Shibuya on my first full day in Japan...The backdrop for a MV from my favourite band...I visited twice..On my first full and my last..full day in Japan..As I walked away down the road..I had tears in my eyes and as I felt I would never walk these streets again....The Stone lantern path in Ueno Park...leading up to Ueno Toshogu Shrine..Again another back drop using in an MV by my fav band...A street in Akihabara..Gotokuji Temple..(the cat Temple)..I walked there from Soshido Temple...To be honest there were plenty of places..So much to see in Tokyo..I just wish I could go again...My main reason for my trip to Japan (from Scotland) was to see my favourite band LIVE at Tokyo Garden Theater..which I did!.

I love taking a bus tour the first day I'm in a new city. It's pretty relaxing after a (usually) tiring day of travel and it lets you get a quick feel of the place before the exploring starts for real the next day. Also, I've definitely visited many cool places, that I didn't hadn't even considered before spotting them from a tour bus.

When I visited Tokyo in 2016, we stayed in Shibuya and took the JR line everywhere. SUPER POTATO in Akihabara was my first stop. I also really enjoyed the Robot Restaraunt in Shinjuku! It was like Medieval Times meets Power Rangers!

J’aurais dû apprendre le Japonais. Moi, je ne suis pas cute ou précieux donc on me dit que l’on va avoir besoin de moi après avoir fait n’importe quoi afin de régler le problème. Personne me parle sauf pour me donner des bêtises.
