As an Artist, I know first hand how a piece of art sells better because the client saw it in person! It is a completely different experience than seeing it online due to the inability to visualize the size of the piece, the textures and colors. Not saying they won't buy online, but it seems to act more like a gateway. These guys may want to consider posting in progress videos with the the artist of the works they plan to sell. Love your brain Gary! Thanks for all the great ideas and inspiration!

@oddimagination & @fmstudioofficial: I'm not in the Art World, like you guys, just been marketing all my Life and love a good challenge. As I was watching the conversation, I was thinking about how I would do it and I agree with Denise: there needs to be a personal connection (selling is emotional, selling a piece for 100K is absolutely emotional, visceral). It will need more work, but I would create channels for the individual artists that I want to feature on my website - like Reality-TV style or Garyvee-Style Vlogs, were you follow the artist, you show his bad days, his personality, something that goes under your skin...you will understand (or not) who the mind behind the art is. Like creating an emotional bond with that artist! I bet people would buy every following piece of art and follow their favorite artists around like Gods! :-D

I love GaryVee, cuss words and all. I’ve been creating content since 2014, doing it so much I was started to resent my efforts. (Resenting because I wanted my business support me financially after 6 years.) I then looked for what I ENJOYED doing and NOW I am beginning to see the benefits of those past and present efforts. QUALITY might be an issue but I’m just going to have to trust myself for now. You are confirming I was on the right track, this is so helpful. So many potential clients were consuming and enjoying my content and I had no idea. I’ve also been hold back my ‘best stuff’ and plan to share it because I know I can produce more and I truly WANT to empower others. I’m back to creating content and consuming yours..... time will tell. 💋🙏🏽

I am so grateful for your channel. I’m a portrait and headshot photographer and my work has been published in Los Angeles Magazine, Forbes, Fast Company, Seventeen, etc. I even made the cover of a (now defunct) magazine with an iconic shot of an LA mansion. All of those accolades paid me little to nothing and did zero for my brand. Landing half a dozen magazines, and a cover, would have made my career in the 80’s. Now they are meaningless facts on a resume I don’t even use. But it did teach me a lot. I’m fascinated by the way things have changed so much. This is awesome. My 15 year old son is looking for a way to make $$ and I brought this to his attention, asking if he might like to do this together and he is SO EXCITED to get started! I can see how as you go, a person would become more savvy on what is something that could be flipped and what is not. Large items you could potentially resell via Craigslist for local pickup. I'm now scouring my house, after budget cut/reduced hours at work for things to sell. I have extra $$ sitting around my house disguised as shit I don't need! Thanks GaryVee

Your son could open Etsy store. You could start by selling mugs, or canvas/ hats. 👟 Go to creative market to purchase really cool.images to print to your stuff. 👟Use printfull ,as the print on demand partner. Think of a niche, is your son into sports? Like sports images and quotes on mugs. My 16 year old daughter just started, and first month made $100... Etsy / printfull free to register But you need a debit and credit card. Give it a try... For example, Christmas is coming, you could get Christmas theme designs and place it on mugs etc...

how do you make 500 a month passive?
@KeepOnGrowin

Through google adsense, affiliate links and a short digital product. If you make "evergreen" content that will be consistently searched for, it will continue to generate income whether you are working or not. If you make videos that are trending but not evergreen, like Will Smith's bungie jump, it gets an initial boost and fizzles out over time requiring you to constantly keep making videos and trying to keep up with times.

Gary is right, I have been spending small amounts on ads to practice and at first, I was paying a dollar CPM, then after a month of hard work (10-10 hour days even tho I have ms). Then I now have it down to .03 because I started to see the elements that people resonated with and I would add them all together for the construction of my advertisement. Because I am getting better at speaking directly to the people I want to reach, anyone finding it challenging to deal with trauma and stress that wants a different kind of view than what is out there. I have faced many traumatizing things like child rape, meth addiction and brain damage from DV but I now see that those challenges were all opportunities for me to see who the fuck I really am. Now I am happier than I ever remember being and it is because of how I choose to face the challenges that life brings. I don't live my life with conditional happiness anymore and I think that Gary might also have a similar view on that. Why should I only be happy if I can walk and I am making money? My worth on this planet is more than that, I am happy because of how I choose to live my life and inspiring people by sharing these truths makes every ounce of pain worth it. I build emotional resilience when I see life this way and it has changed everything. Gary has been a huge part of me realizing all of this because he just embodies so much of what I want to embody. I see traits in him that I am learning from and he is just so inspiring to me. Hope you have a beautiful day and good luck with any ads you are posting!

Really loved this 4ds session @garyvee as it pertains to me and I loved hearing how you would strategically go about increasing sales by ads and video. I am mid career and my market has dropped off with galleries closing etc. I do IG and Fb and have done ads. I spend no money on clothes, bags, and a "me show" material crap. I lived in my mom's house while i went to school of visual arts in nyc so i could learn how to become expertise and skilled technician in realistic painting. Been on social for a while, but did not realize how valuable it was til a few years ago. You have allot of millenials and younger generation people following you and I am in my 50's trying to reinvent my social and think about not depending on agents and galleries. My materials cost allot of money so i find it difficult to run allot of ads. The advice the most valuable to me was the suggestion to run ads against a researched market that would be my client, and hiring the kid that would dm influencers. I do vids of works in progress and sold off FB. Just wanted to thank you for all the advice and for these sessions. Valuable to any age! P.S joined your empire wine club:)) love wine!

You have been very informative and inspiring on pressing on with all of the ideas and talents I have. I continue to hit a ceiling where I am no longer willing to continue to grow the businesses I am working for and no longer gaining profit. The saying it takes money to make money has ultimately been a curse and I at 48 years old and just now beginning to see life clearly and opportunities are arising I have to break the ceiling open and continue on with the momentum I have going. It has been 4 years of me "building my empire" and eating shit for most of it and now I sit with my face pressed against a glass ceiling. Thanks for the encouragement! Moving forward

Kyle Campbell influencers !!! Most of the so call influencers are not big enough ! Lol they are it all depends on what you do , influencers want to either sell a lifestyle that is not yours or just be a copy cat! No purpose ! They are just a salesman or women !! In my case it’s all about creating something that is changing to the positive and changes someone else’s life !! :) everybody’s want to be an influencer , just because they took some pics ! I see it everyday !!! :) @garyvee he is an influencer ! The 99 -1 rule
