Great video. No ego, no nonsense, just fantastic advice. I always enjoy listening to people who have been successfully active in their pursuit for many years. You can hear their passion come through in each sentence. You can also feel the good confident and competent vibes they radiate out. Their craftsmanship is evident as they offer up advice and feedback that isn't arrogant or full of hubris. They also acknowledge that despite their successes, they still have much to learn. Good stuff

Hope we inspire some people to get out there and give it ago. Sydney is such an amazing place to start diving and we still love getting out after 15 years of travelling all over the world.

Most of the concepts will be the same, just look up the local fisheries regulations, the Perth store will be able to point you in the right direction!

When is it too old to start spearfishing? Would being over fifty be unsafe?

Not at all some of the best spearos in the country are in their 50's. Join a club, dive with a buddy, follow safe practices and you'll have an amazing journey ahead of you. Good luck!
