I have interstitial cystitis and have tried various Rx medications, natural supplements, and even two rounds of PTNS (the PTNS did help to some degree). Yes, this was only one night, but one night of thousands where I awoke several times during the night with a painful urgent need to pee - sometimes resulting in accidents. @@Max-wv6md Here's a resource: doctorstevenpark.com/atrial-natriuretic-peptide-a-possible-clue-to-uars-and-obesity Many others, and lots of literature to confirm. Keep in mind trailblazers like Dr. Park have operated at the forefront of scientific understanding when it comes to OSA. And doing that, he often explores hypothesis and theories, and those can change as the science matures. He and the community of physicians of like mind have repeatedly been 'on the right track', while their peers are...very slow to catch up. So, older content like I linked, it's relevant, but there's likely a lot more that's been learned since then. And maybe a few points that could stand to undergo correction. Overall though, his website is a very good resource for learning about sleep. So is Dr. Barry Krakow's blog posts (very prolific; he gives a lot of details).

You are upset because a commercial at the end of the video is something that you don’t want/need? That’s a real first world problem. The product may not be something you choose to use/buy however they are not useless to you. Vegan and Hindu are choices and not necessary constants for life making it impossible for you to use the product. I wonder how you would respond to a commercial advertising something you physiologically can’t use not just ethically or simply choose not to use? Do you get upset when you see a tampon commercial? It wasn’t even the message it was just a commercial. As I said a real first world “problem”

I put a porous 3M tape over my mouth at night when I go to bed and I think that helps a lot. Low levels of CO2 in your system encourage urination.

@@g.s.5868 Do you have other health issues? Like chronic fatigue? Hypothyroidsm? Low blood pressure, low body temperature? If yes then you have also low aldosterone production. So you can't retain sodium = fluids... I would recommend hair tissue mineral analysis from www.arltma.com/contact_analytical_research_labs.html and follow thei recommendations on diet and supplements.. But it is not fast fix. It can take year or years of dedication to healing program to be somewhat healthy again. people expect fast fix for years and years of abuse of their body. But it doesn't work like that..

@jellygood8552

@@naughtyorgneiss I have had to block up my bedroom window and put curtains up at my bedroom door. It's quite an unpleasant thing, a room without a window. I can't go out after they come on. Even with the glasses it doesn't take long before I am in extreme pain because the light comes around the edges. Pets and wildlife and most people don't want to have to wear glasses at night in bed or in the evening but they will be negatively affects by this. I'm having to move to the country(not necessarily easy) . I miss the night sky, fresh air after dark. I can't live with this nightly threat of extreme pain. It will cause Cancer, depression, aggression, bone loss, psychosis, obesity, chronic pain conditions, etc because blue light increases serotonin and directly negatively affects mitochondria if it falls on your skin. Every night. Really bad news.

Be aware that magnesium is competing against sodium for the cell receptors, so You have to increase Your magnesium intake also. It is way too high. > I Improve my sleep with 5 HTP ??? > and a mix with warm water & Taurin & Choline Bitatrate & Inositol % & L Theanin , a bit salt and Sango Powder..together with a scoop Magnesium Citratre > .. 2 Caps of Boron...and at least...2 Spoons of Apple Cider You are - in my humble view - a supplement junkie. @@Viertelfranzose You don't need a single of those supplements. Eat healthy and quit all caffeine until it's resolved. Avoid eating late, preferably latest at 6-7pm, and go to sleep EARLY enought, 10-11:30pm. Maybe take a short walk after dinner. EDIT: I forgot to mention optimizing your room - including lights, your bed, blanked, pillow, sleeping position etc. - experiment with turning off wifi and other devices.

How old is Chris masterjohn. I can’t find his age anywhere. Is that because he’s concerned that a pretty young guy who should not be waking up at night to pee is lecturing the rest of us older guys about this problem. This is not to say you can’t provide useful information if you are young but it’s certainly something people will wonder about.
