Here's the Passenger Locator Form that you will need to fill out before arriving in Greece: travel.gov.gr/#/ I forgot to mention in the video that there are a bunch of countries in the Balkans and eastern Europe that are open now, some of which don't require vaccination or even a Covid test. They are: Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus. If you know of any others comment below. And see these links for more info about which countries are open, which ones are opening soon and what the entry requirements are: www.afar.com/magazine/when-will-we-be-able-to-travel-to-europe www.traveloffpath.com/countries-without-any-travel-restrictions-or-entry-requirements/

Hi Gabriel. Glad to see you back in Europe and doing your thing. May I ask, what proof did you provide to enter Greece? I have been fully vaccinated (Pfizer) but Canada, my home country, doesn't have a standard, internationally accepted "vaccine passport". Also, I hadn't heard from any sources that the U.S. has one either. Did you just need to produce your 2 vaccine certificates? Or whatever they have in the U.S.? In Canada our vaccines are distributed and administered by our provincial governments not our federal government. Its still very confusing in Canada...lol. Thanks and enjoy!

Its a really interesting place too. I know Athens isnt great and it can be really ugly and depressing some times but it has a lot of little things that makes it beautiful..

@@GabrielTravelerVideosGabriel I love your videos but calling Athens mundane is not the most accurate way to describe the city!! Of course in terms of architecture it cant compete to the likes of Rome, Paris or Prague, however in terms of world class museums, exhibitions, restaurants, and cultural life in general its probably amongst the very top of European cities. And dont forget that you can grab a Tram from the very centre and find yourself in some very beautiful beaches in no time. Give yourself the chance to explore Athens a bit more without the very 90's stereotypes of "Athens is ugly, just escape to the Islands", and the city will not dissapoint!!Have a fantastic time in Greece Gabriel!!

Hi Gabe, you made a couple of mistakes/omissions, when you talked about restrictions for tourists and travelling inside Greece. 1) For the time being there is a curfew in place from 00:30 at night to 05:00 in the morning. 2) Also for the time being cafeterias do not play music, as this will induce screaming between the clients and thus easier spreading of the virus but most important 3) If a tourist wants to travel from continental Greece to an island (with the exception of Salamina, Lefkada and Evvia) and does NOT meet AT LEAST one of the following requirements (a) He/She is fully vaccinated (b) He/She has contracted the virus in the last 9 months (c) He/She has been in continental Greece for LESS than three days since his/her arrival which means that his/her PCR test has NOT expired then this tourist HAS to do a rapid covid test before leaving the coninent. You will have no problem, as you meet requirement (a), but others might...
