This is a beginners guide on how to tackle a brisket and I’m certainly no pro seeing as this is the first time I’ve done it but hopefully it will be of use to you either way.
So here it it is: Trimming and smoking my first grass fed full packer brisket from @idevour.meat
It took 19 hours of overnight smoking in my @bradleysmoker and the results were worth every minute. From the juicy point to the tender flat, every stage was unique because no two briskets are ever the same… not gonna lie, it wasn’t perfect by any means and took far longer than expected to figure out how to trim it from scratch but I got there! Also made my own beef tallow and crafted mouth-watering burnt ends.
