Nice! I have a slightly different question. Standard 16.10 lists two types, LONG and SHORT valves. Which is the most common type, a LONG or SHORT? Which is the preferred type that a design office should consider?

Thanks for this video, it has been very helpful. I am currently working on a valve library in a software called Edgewise. I am using ASME b16.10 table 1 as a reference. However, the table only covers certain pipe diameter. Why is that?

ASME B16.10-2017 has different arrangement tables with 1992 version.
