I have oily skin, large pores and whiteheads with some pimples now and then. Right now I‘m using the Beauty of Joseon Plum cleanser daily but I’m thinking about getting this one. I also use the la roche posay effeclar micro peeling cleanser 2 times a week. Should I stay with the BoJ cleanser or use this one for a stronger cleansing?

Or could the Neutrogena hydro boost cleanser be an option as well?

What don't you like about Beauty of Joseon's Cleanser? La Roche-Posay Cleanser (the blue one) is more 'aggressive' in the sense that it can be more drying for some people. Why do you use the other LRP cleanser only twice per week? Still, I also recommend looking into the root causes of your acne, such as lack of sleep, stress or mental health issues, environmental factors (air & water quality, washing detergent, etc), and especially your diet (such as consuming too much added sugar, processed food, fast food, or any food intolerance; like soy, spices, milk, bread (wheat/gluten), eggs, chicken, etc).

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you for your answer! I don’t feel really clean after the Beauty of Joseon Cleanser, so I wanted to look for something different. I only use the other LRP cleanser only 2 times a week because it feels a bit drying after I use it

Ok, well the same could happen with the blue LRP cleanser because it's more 'aggressive' in cleaning the skin. Do you have a skincare routine? If so, what else do you use?

Well, do you have dry to normal skin or normal to oily skin? If you have dry to normal skin, it is generally recommended to use a hydrating cleanser such as Cerave Hydrating Cleanser or La Roche-Posay Dermo Cleanser. If you have normal to oily skin, you would typically benefit from using La Roche-Posay Purifying Cleanser or Cerave Foaming Cleanser. It's important to adjust your choice of cleanser based on your skin type to ensure it suits your specific needs.

Hi! New here ❤ Is it okay to use this cleanser when you have combination skin?
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet

Hmm, it can be a bit drying if your cheeks tend to be dry. However, you could simply use it less often on these areas-unless you are trying to remove sunscreen.

@@xd_joe Depending on what causes your pimples, it can already be enough. However, most often, pimples/acne come from the inside, which may be triggered by stress or your diet, etc., so it's important to figure out the root cause of your pimples.

I have combination skin, oily in the T zone. I use Effeclar Gel La Roche and Effeclar tonic. Anyway, I don't know why I feel like my skin is showing internal pimples after using it. It is normal? (it's been two weeks since I changed them and I'm using both of them)

Hey! :) Do you have acne-prone skin? In the beginning, when introducing new skincare products to the skin, you can experience an increase in pimples, which is also known as purging, as the skin needs time to adjust to them. However, if that doesn't calm down within a month, it could also mean that the overall concentration, formulation, or a specific ingredient is causing this. If that's the case, it's best to stop using those products and switch to something else.

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet In fact, I have mixed skin, oily in the T zone, with acne tendencies and sensitive at the same time. I have used endless products and treatments but I can't find products that fit well and give the effect I want. 😓
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet

@@rakela37 Hmm, do you often change the products you use, or what do you mean by having used 'endless products'? If you don't maintain a consistent routine, or if you use different, irritating or harsh treatments, your skin may potentially become overwhelmed. This can result in the issues you're experiencing. I sometimes encounter this problem too, especially when I test many new products, but that's part of my business. However, what I'm trying to say is that you should stick to a routine for a while and see if it brings any improvement. Alternatively, you might want to consider visiting a doctor to identify the root cause of your skin issues.

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I have tried products and I have expected their effect up to 1 or two months of daily use. The problem is that I haven't found a routine that suits my skin and find peace to stay consistent in a certain routine.

@@rakela37 So, what products have you tried? Additionally, what are your skin concerns, and specifically, what are you trying to achieve? However, 1-2 months is typically not long enough, especially when using products to combat pimples. Most products require 3-4 months to show their full effects.

No, this one is for normal to oily skin. For dry skin, you would use this one: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sqiLyoWvf6qIpo4 However, for makeup removal, it's not ideal. I would recommend a balm cleanser. Here are some tutorials and options to consider: How to use the Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm + Double Cleansing Routine: kzitem.info/news/bejne/1oOa3mSQbXxqfY4 How to use the Geek and Gorgeous Mighty Cleansing Balm - Including Double Cleanse Routine: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sH-Bzoqah3d1npg If your skin feels irritated and the baume b5 stings, it's likely due to the cleanser being a bit too drying for your skin! You could use the balm cleanser in the evening and then opt for the La Roche-Posay Dermo Cleanser in the morning.
