i know this video is really old but can it be possible to make another video about how to control noise texture so it only effects specific part of the material ? like just front of the face of the monkey not the ears

May I ask, is there a reason you omitted the Displacement Node when using displacement? Generally, displacement is achieved by connecting a non-color (grayscale) image to the Height input of a Displacement Node before connecting to the Material Output. Additionally, displacement is generally reserved for the displacement of vertices on a heavily subdivided object in Cycles Render Engine - since you are using EEVEE (and have a relatively un-subdivided object), would it not make sense to use a Bump Node connected to the Normal of the Principled BSDF instead? I'm not trying to be an ass (really I'm not), and I agree that Noise Textures are incredibly versatile, but I think it's important that beginners have a clear understanding of the difference between fake (bumped) displacement and true (vertex) displacement, and that blender has built-in nodes to help manage both of these systems.

the 4th dimension is for time, probably changes the noise over time, but keeps the other setting relative

Hi, I have a question. What can cause the node material to not fill the whole object?…

Hello, sorry this is not relevant to this video in specific, but I'm trying to find the Dimensions slider in Blender, I need to set specific dimensions to faces on my model and I cannot figure out how to do this for the life of me, it seems there used to be a "Dimension Slider" in the "View" bar when you pressed "N" long ago, but it is no longer.. does anyone know where I can find this?
