Another excellent video, thanks. I'm doing my first FCP project and hope this approach makes sense...I'm creating 10 chapters, each it's own library. I make a compound clip of each chapter and export it as H.264 video. I then upload each of these videos into a new library, assemble them in order, make final editing adjustments, apply transitions and music, and then save as the final H.264 video. I guess I'm asking if this is the best way to combine projects and will I have issues trying to edit the H.264 video chapters within the combined library? Thanks so much.

That works but I would just do one Library with 10 projects. One for each chapter. Then I would turn each chapter into a compound clip and add each compound clip into my main project that contains all the chapters. Here's a video on compound clips: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2Iebyo1-pXend3Y

Hey awesome video thank you. Is it possible to bring all the different projects into one timeline?

Yes. Open a project, select everything in your timeline (command A), turn into a compound clip (option G), then add your compound clips to one project timeline.

I was looking for the same info as the person above. Could I also just copy the full footage of Project 1 and just past it into the footage of Project 2? By mistake I created 2 projects but I only needed one to edit my full video. And would it be better to create a compound clip instead of just copying and pasting?@@StupidRaisins

I would do a compound clip so timing doesn't get messed up. You can also try out a simple copy and paste in a different project.@@Dollectable_Dreams
