How many others have been unfairly attacked in court, behind bars for a crime they didn't commit??? This is terrifying and we are watching this happen sitting helpless. My biggest takeaway is that the O'Keefe Family is still searching for justice. - A federal agent (Higgins, ATF) accessed a US military base to dispose of evidence. - Multiple state troopers testified to violating SOP and failure to collect / document evidence. - The state trooper accident specialist is extremely unqualified and focused on confirmation bias instead of a true investigation. - The DA chose to move forward (and increased charges) despite knowing the lead investigator was compromised, evidence was suspect, ME's cause of death did not match charges, and neutral federal witnesses determined vehicle was not involved. - Every case Proctor has touched is now suspect; AND every case this DA tried is also suspect. Ultimately, there's a dead LEO and no conviction; because other LEOs did not do their job properly.

They didn't even try to do an investigation that would ensure a conviction of whoever did it. Within 16 hrs, they claim they knew she did it, but by that time they didn't have any evidence that pointed her way. Their timeline doesn't make sense and that's the fault of the investigators and the person laying out the details for the jury. He needs to go... not only does he need to go, but so do all of the men that's in that chat... Then each investigation needs to be relooked at again to ensure that whoever they convicted is actually guilty and not a victim of his incompetence. This case is crazy. @@nelsona8285the show was called “The First 48”. The premise was that the first 48 hours are critical to solving crimes. Proctah Troopah had interviewed three people, Brian Albert, Matt and Jen McCabe. Not exactly disinterested parties. Because of those interviews and learning John was missing a shoe, Proctah and Bukkake had already decided to seize her car. They called for a tow truck to tow truck before they had even saw her car. They didn’t go to the scene and didn’t think to search the Albert house. They violated her civil rights by seizing her car and phone without a warrant. Proctah lied in his report that he took possession of her car at 1730 when in reality it was 1615. He deliberately withheld the original video from the canton library and the one that was provided to the defense had a two minute gap missing, at the same time that Karen would’ve been driving by going back to John’s house. This is laughable, and he doesn't even know the terminology, let alone applying it. I almost fell off the couch when he was on the stand. 5. There's tons of people assigning guilt to Karen because she swears, gets angry, is jealous, and they have fights. They were hugging and kissing that night! 6. This performance brings down the city, state, and even our country. If you believe in a higher power, you realize that this is Babylon. 7. Giving John justice, and for his family, is a trite phrase that means about nothing. John is in another world, no pain, and was greeted with the greatest love ever. I never thought of the question of how Trooper Proctor knew about Karen Read's medical history. I didn't realize during the trial that this was 16 hours into the investigation. For me, the answer now is obvious who did it. Who was the person she would have discussed personal medical issues with? The one person who also was dealing with a diagnosis of MS, Jen McCabe.

The Defense strategy was ALWAYS seek a hung jury by tainting the jury pool. Without Proctor testifying they will have one less category of jurors to select, those that could succumb to Furman Effect (named for Mark Furman, the LA detective that defense team convinced jurors was racist so they let guilty man go free only because they hated Furman).

Yes, they need to continue with this. Not only were Proctors words horrible, but his bias and actions showing his bias towards the Alberts were solidified with the Kevin Albert texts. Also, Trooper Paul being highly unqualified to do accident reconstruction is a problem for them. The Canton Police should be held accountable for their incompetence. The public and press need to keep speaking out to create pressure. Taxpayers should write letters and make phone calls. If Karen Read is, again, tried in court, I’m sure more will come out.

Corrupt cops are more a feature than a bug. They pull you for a rolling violation but when a cop is murdered by cops, it's crickets. Also, except for myself, not a single person seems to have noticed that just after John's body had been dumped on the lawn, Jennifer McCabe played 'It's Raining Men' on her phone. These people are psychopaths with a sick sense of humour. Strange how the defence never mentioned this. No other songs were plated on that phone; just 'It's Raining Men'.
