Though I am just 12 1/2, I know this song and love it, followed by a few MJ songs. There is a sitcom I hope to get out called Shimone and Annie, which has this song as one of their various megamix hits. I heard this song on my back porch swing about six or seven months ago and I wanted to know what it was called. I thought to myself, “This sounds somewhat familiar and DEFINITELY 80s.” I looked it up on my radio station site and the reason why I thought it was familiar was because it sounded very much like it played in the ORIGINAL scene of the community center in that TV show. I don’t know if it really was, but the more I listened to it I think it was. It is definitely in the Shimone and Annie megamix which is one of the many reasons why I love it!

Idk what I wouldn't give to be back to the place that the feelings I get from this puts me. It's someplace, some time. Nothing too specific, just a mood, a deep feeling inside. That's why I listen to old music I grew up with. The nostalgia is very strong. Scents do that too. It's like trying to capture a moment in time that's a bubble, but the bubble floats away or pops. So fleeting, so ephemeral.

I was born in 88, and I'm now 32 and I always feel like I just barely missed one of the coolest decades to grow up in when I hear this stuff. My parents still brought me up on this even though I am a 90's kid. I can only imaging living through this time.

I love the 80s. The music, the big hair, even leg warmers and fingerless lace gloves. I am 56 now and Howard Jones was playing at Disney 10 years ago when I was there. I am explaining to this 20 year who he is and said you know the song Nobody Is to Blame!. Kid stares blankly then it hits me I am old. This kid wasn’t even born when those songs where hits

I played 10 seconds and stopped it when I realized it wasnt the song I thought it was. Then just a few minutes ago I hear the song playing in the trailer for the game "Kerbal Space Program 2", fall inlove with it, and now im here again.

LYRICS We're not scared to lose it all security throw through the wall Future dreams we have to realize A thousand skeptic hands won't keep us from the things we plan Unless we're clinging to the things we prize And do you feel scared, I do But I won't stop and falter And if we threw it all away Things can only get better Wow wow wow oh, wow wow wow oh oh oh oh Treating today as though it was the last, the final show Get to sixty and feel no regret It may take a little time a lonely path, an uphill climb Success or failure will not alter it And do you feel scared, I do But I won't stop and falter And if we threw it all away Things can only get better Wow wow wow oh, wow wow wow oh oh oh oh And do you feel scared, I do But I won't stop and falter And if we threw it all away Things can only get better
